And not really I guess, I joined when it was apparently a 'controversial' year and it still has its fair share. |

He was one of my best buds on here at the start, lmao. He turned out to be a big troll and he left eventually :joker: |

I always thought proxies were pointless for forums and websites like this. |

the only thing worse than the things that people point out about the site nowadays is the sad, select few who once posted like crazy, and now only come back from time to time to moan about how great this site used to be. Get off the ****ing high horse.

It has obviously changed. There was only something like 2,000 members when I joined(I'm not even sure it was that many). There's hardly anyone still here from 2005,me,Linda,Greg and Aaron being the ones that come to mind. But I really don't think it's changed that much. It's always been young people,we just grew up and new young people came along. There's always been fights and arguments and there has always been cliques. But really it still has the same essence about it. Plenty of us have stuck around because of it havn't we?

I hope Gavin comes back.. and President.

yeah it has. It's a lot less interesting now. The current crop of members, the majority are just too young and immature to hold a proper conversation, you walk into a thread, you're guaranteed to see either an argument, aimless **** chatting or total ignorance. Then you have these ****ing messes who constantly complain of 'groups' forming, ect. who need to wake up and realise the more people on tibb, the more likely people are going to disagree and become closer with others. this time last year, there were still argument but they were at least interesting ones.

Some of the older members dont seem to make the effort getting to know us newer members, not much we can do about that! |

I think I got to know quite a few of the 'oldies' quite well.

It has, I don't know if for the better or worse everyone has their own opinion on that... for me, it's still the same just not with the same members if that makes any sense.
When I first joined I was a 'noob' like everyone else, getting to know everyone and talking etc. Then like there always has and always will be on this forum, groups obviously form because if you like certain members then you are obviously going to talk to them more, it's not about targetting people. Anyway I was in a sort of group with Hannah, Sia, Annie, Rocko, Fom etc... now I don't really speak to any of these. Then I became friendly with Mark, Hugo, Gary, Shaun, Billy, Rory etc... and I only really speak to Billy, Rory and Mark nowadays. Things change but the forum is how you make it. I've always spoke to members like Arneldo, Lauren, Zee, Princess, Rory on a daily basis and hope to continually do so. People change and people move on, you just gotta deal with it. I guarantee in a year the 'groups' that there are now, won't be entirely the same someone would have gone/argued/left. (I don't think groups are a bad thing before anyone says). It's sad because I miss talking to alot of some of my old close friends on here but hey they're still about so it's good. I think I've changed alot aswell... calmed down loads. |
The members have changed but I still feel like i'm on the outside. I've never been online or chatty enough to be in a group/clique/friendship circle. Or maybe i don't appeal online.
So no, it's not really changed for me. |
Oooo it was my 3 year anniversary yesterday!
