Once they given love and time they're wonderful pets to have around the place and incredibly loyal and devoted. They're obviously gorgeous too lol.

Cat#1 [mine]: Sky

She is like...the cuddliest thing ever. I have a special connection with her LOL, it's one that only cat-owners really understand...people harp on about how disloyal cats can be. Well not this one. I'll be devastated when she goes to kittyheaven. :( [in the background: my wall. covered in cut-out pics from Q magazines]

Cat #2 [my sister's]: Milly
http://i50.tinypic.com/e01sut.jpg
She's like...the fiercest bitch ever. She'll randomly chase after you and bite your ankles if she's pissed off, but she's a black cat and wears this Harrods jewel-thing collar which I DID buy for my cat, but she was too fat. But Milly pulls it off better.

Cat #3 [my brother's]: Smudge
http://i45.tinypic.com/sx0h8n.jpg
He. Is. The. Cutest. Thing. Ever. He looks like a cow for ****'s sake! He's so tiny compared to the other two, and always has to be fed separately because they push him out...even though he's the male :p plus he purrs like a motorbike. And he isn't as camera-shy as the others.

I'll upload a pic of my dog when i cba. I don't really like him pmsl.

I love working dogs. Dobermans, Boxers, Alsations, Rottweilers. Any breed with a bit of a bad reputation for being aggressive. Pure strength.

Awwwwwww they are all amazing Milly is kind of scary though :L

Shaun 05-02-2010 06:34 PM

She is. The only thing she has any compassion for is the dog - the rest of us she just growls and hisses at. Plus she runs for the door when there's someone there pmsl - I think she was born into the wrong species.

They don't all have bad reputations. They're just strong animals but there's nothing wrong with that if they know who's boss. I just think Alsations are a bit thick, that's all.

 I have a big dog too but I didn't bother taking a pic of her she is old and fluffy! My cat sleeps on her back but fights with the other dog!

Of course there's nothing wrong with that. Their behaviour and attitude is entirely dependent on how the owner treats it. Some dogs are just treated as a status symbol.

Yep, absolutely. And Boxers and Rottweilers are adorable. Had many a good cuddle and mess fight with those lads and lived to tell the tale. When they hit you though you feel it...so strong. And have you ever seen a bullmastif (is that how you spell it)? Tanks!!

Jessica. 05-02-2010 06:43 PM

I had an alsation and a rotweiler and they had cut babies :laugh2: :blush2:

I remember meeting a girl while I was working on site and she was being dragged about by one of those beasts and she told me that they had to bulid a brick wall around the back garden because the dog was crashing through the fences all the time. Now these weren't mickey mouse fences and the dog wasn't doing it intentionally - just so strong. Then I asked her what age he was....6-8 months!!! Something like that and the size of him!

setanta 05-02-2010 06:52 PM

Oh, and I've never been around pit bulls so can't really say anything about the breed.

They're like Mastiffs really, just less stocky.

I know what they look like, just wondering about their nature and how the interact with other dogs and humans. Never been around them, you know? I've heard stories obviously.

Jessica. 06-02-2010 08:24 AM

LOL "she was a dog, born in the body of a cat" poor thing. All three of your cats are so cute! As are all of the pets people have posted so far! I'm a cat person, definitely, I love my cat so much!

Her name's Dizzy:

That's an old photo though, she's only got one eye now after getting into a fight (I like to think she messed the other cat up something good though, in my mind the other cat's probably missing like a paw and an ear) but she's still as adorable as ever, I love her to pieces!
