That Woman is
A. Not presenting a physical threat to anyone other than a pissed up migit.
B. In a confrontation with her Male partner, against a group of rowdy louts is a liability to him, he will have to baby sit her, because it is apparent that she could not pull her weight. that is all i am saying.

Women on lower pay for the same job, i would agree is descrimination. Women not reaching the upper eschelons of business fair enough.

But Women in the Front lines of the Police, Army, and Fire Service is PC gone bonkers

All I know is, there are man-hating "feminists" and then true feminists. You cannot be a man-hater and feminist at the same time. It's just.. impossible. These women are called female supremacists, and it's just as bad as racial supremacy and chauvinism. It's unnecessary ignorance and intolerance.

Women wont be allowed to serve on the front line of the Army, they can carry weapons in self defence and get right in amongst it, as medics or supporting arms. They wont be allowed to fly modern combat aircraft in the RAF due to their bodies being less capable than men to cope with the stresses of high speed flight.

They are allowed in the Fire and Police Services because they can pass the required physical test. In the forces the physical tests still have two different sets of pass requirements for male and female, on shuttle runs for example the men have to run for a few levels Women can pass at about a fast walk. Mind, they do still get the same money as men of the same rank and trade.

In the area of domestic abuse, a women claims a man hits her, he gets lifted. If and it does happen a man is the victim, in a lot of areas he is told to man up. Or its ignored either way its not pursued with the same vigour as it would be if the perpertrator was a man.

So yes life is unfair, there is not equality between the sexes. ,aybe one day there will be. But dont think its only women who receive discrimination.

I thought she had some good points and I agree with her really, I fully believe in equal rights but if the work based stats she said were true then it's a fair point. If both Genders work the same amount of hours at the same job then they should get paid equally obviously and if anyone works less then it's only fair to those that work longer hours to get paid more and I'd say the same if the tables are reversed.

I'd like to believe her point about Women choosing family or career is overly pessimistic as I believe both women and men can juggle both.

I think that is just naiive and what employers recognise and build-nto the unsaid wage/employment dscrimination which just realistically reflects how society works (like it or not)

It still is the notional that male goes out and works, female work is secondary in relationship.

The couples I know where both work, still the wife has to put in more hours at home caring so the woman's career suffers

The females I know who have have house husbands are because they recognise the female has a far huger earning potential in a professional career.

The 2 profesionals without kids are interesting - these relationships tend to end as too much disposable cash and want to do their own things (my theory is that males and females not inherantly compatible without being tied to kids! and not too much in common the different genders except shag)

That usually only applies in working class families - where poorly educated men can earn more than poorly educated women.

In well educated professional couples where both have high earning potential - that is much less the case!
