Starry Eyed charts at 4! :D

Ellie's debut album, Lights, is released today, wahoo!!! :hello:

I hope I can get it today, but should have it by the end of the week if not, cant wait. :)

It's a decent album, not really a bad song but most of it's generic as hell.

Ellie Goulding has secured a significant lead in the midweek album charts.

The singer's debut Lights has sold 40% more than Lady GaGa's current chart-topper The Fame/The Fame Monster, which is on course to drop to second place.

The Starsmith-produced record includes buzz single 'Under The Sheets' and current Top 5 hit 'Starry Eyed'.

Speaking to DS recently, Goulding claimed that she was not concerned about chart positions.

"I think they're a good indicator of what the vibe is, but to be honest they don't really mean anything," she said.

"There are plenty of bands who never get in the charts and it doesn't mean that they're not any good. Actually, a lot of the Top 10 is filled with stuff that just sounds the same. I could guess what's in there now - probably a bit of GaGa, Beyoncé and some US R&B males."

Ahhhhhhhhhh I got the album today and love every single track, not a bad song on it! :hello:
I would say my favourite track on the album is Your Biggest Mistake, Wish I Stayed being a close second, but think all 10 songs are great! :D

'Guns and Horses' will be Goulding's third single. :)

My 3rd/4th favourite on the album with Starry Eyed!

Guns and Horses. Under The Sheets and Starry Eyed obv. I'll Hold My Breath and Salt Skin are the only others that stand out for me really.

Guns and Horses is amazing, happy that its the next single! :) Hopefully itll be Ellie's first number 1 too.
