my dad plays the trombone on the dads army themetune

he was in the coldstream guards for ages

when i was 8 we went to butlins, they held a talent contest and my dad made me get up in front of hundreds of people and sing this, i forgot the words half way through and was unable to finish the song, my dad gave me 50p for my efforts, which was a lot of money to an 8 year old in 1987

and i just realised dads army is 60s/70s lol
