I don't believe I was suggesting that kids should put down their Harry Potter trash and go out, snort a line then do a bit of housebreaking so can shoot-up on the proceeds

I can't think of one favourite.I love the last 3 especially but I grew up with the early ones. They're all great but I reread the last 3 more than the others.

He was not in it at all, it was all about Askabam and if sirus black wanter to kill him or not 'Tom Riddle' was not mentioned at all. Was a great book

Princess 03-04-2010 02:53 AM

I havn't read the early ones in yonks. I reread the newer ones before the movies come out and end up reading till the end of the series.

Which bit didn't you understand kid? Having Sky High Definition? Wanting to see The Pacific in HD (Band of Brothers sequel really by HBO)? Being bored by Chelsea beating Man U easily live on TV? Rhinking that anything on ITV is kiddy nonesense not worth the air of publicity?

Maybe the part where it has no relation to the Harry Potter BOOKS

No.

The part where I was talking to a fellow Harry Potter fan and you came out nowhere and said 'We all have diffrent opinions' which was completely irrelevant to what were discussing tbh.

Anyways.

If you read above a bit longer you'll see I'm a really BIG hater of kids getting stuck with that rubbish..........watch Cartoon Network for a bit, then go do homework instead.

I mean no harm - it is my opinion Padds:xyxwave:

Kids stopped watching Cartoon Network years ago.

Do you want every teenager to be watching Ben 10 At the age of 14.

Nope - I'd rather they watch History/Discovery channels rather than wasting their lives reading nonesense. Reading in itself doesn't make you studious if yo're reading crapola...........the tendency will be that you fail English exams because yer heid is full of nonesense.

Or go play the PS3/x-Box/Wii for a bit to relax and have fun then go do the serious bits when ready

Deathly Hallows. There all brilliant though. I remember waiting in Asda at 12am to get DH and once the staff released the books on to the checkouts, everyone went mad. Good times.

Which was actually the least successful HP film. Interesting considering the books popularity.

1(5). Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (2001) $968,657,891
2(8). Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (2007) $937,000,866
3(9). Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (2009) $933,956,980
4(13).Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005) $892,194,397
5(17).Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (2002) $866,300,000
6(26).Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004) $789,458,727

Worldwide box office. Overall position in brackets.

I think the final film will top them all.
