I have a feeling that in the next few weeks your either gonna be Ben's 'friend' or his enemy.

Sunshine isnt a Josie or Nathan, the Bitches have no room for her, and I don't think she can survive alone as a floater for very long.

You're right, her card will be marked.

I respect the fact that she's not the pushover i expected her to be though.

What if the other group push her away too?

She could reach victim status and get quite far

It worked a treat for Freddie.

On the bright side, Ben will look the villain he so clearly is, as he's supposed to be her friend.

You know that? I think your right, though Ben has turned on her several times even up to now and most still don't see him for the player that he is.

If she has half the inner strength that Freddy has she could be the team destroyer he was, no debate. Her performance so far in that area hasnt been amazing, but she could find it from somewhere. The one thing that kept Freddy in was his resiliance... I am not seeing that in her right now but you never know.

I might not be supporting Ben to win, or even liking him, but he is making this a game worth watching. :)

btw Wong, your a breath of fresh air.. someone who actually wants to talk about the game rather then just repeating the same 'she sucks!' or whatever rubbish. :)

Govan and Rachael and maybe some others seem to be getting along with Sunshine. JJ and Dave may be on her side too as well as Mario. If Shabby goes the 3 bathroom bitches who are jealous of Sunshine's lively character may well be reduced to 2.

Maybe, though I see Rachael moving into queen bee of that group once shabby leaves, bringing Govan in as her henchman, and we know how Rachael truly feels about Sunshine.

If Rachael then made a move on Nathan...

Could Mario change the stereotype that blokes think with their knobs though?

It'd be great if he sided with Sunstroke but he's really attracted to Ben and might overlook any nastiness in the hopes of getting his end away.

That could definitely happen.

It will be interesting to see how this all plays out.

Sometimes people are too quick calling people 'bitchy'.Ben has imo sussed everyone out.He has sussed out Govans ****-stirring ways and the three girls 'the witches' cos all they seem to do is whisper and talk amoungst themselves. He can spot genuine people and even though he likes JJ he has told him he disagreed with a couple of things he said and did to Rachel...also he has told JJ he likes her.
Ben has become respected in there...and I think he is brill...

I asked you before if you had been watching LF at all Rustic, but you didnt answer. Have you?

If you havent, and you didnt see him rally his troops and move to recruit JJ, then you have to understand that this is a whole new Ben we are looking at. He has changed dramatically in the past 24 hours.

Maybe google the word 'Machiavellian' if you want an insight into Ben, if you don't know what it means ofc.

chauncey 18-06-2010 06:13 PM

I can't wait for Govan to realise Ben's been bitching about him.Ben will crumple like wet toilet paper and ask for forgiveness just like he did with Shabby.

The idea that Ben is 'fearsome' is::laugh3:

lol whats Govan gonna do? Rant at him?

If he does he will be the block nomination of the Nerds next Fri, and he will go.

Even if he is attacked, I agree Ben would appear to ask forgiveness and appear to be the most contrite and humble of men, but then thats what a Machiavellian player would do right?

At this time Ben is the most powerful HM in there, like him or not.

That's just it.Like when Shabby was pissed at him for talking about 'editing',Govan doesn't get upset, scream and shout. He justs speaks slowly like the person is stupid:joker:,explains, cajoles, manipulates and it's done.

Dave hated Govan, yet still was crying that he wasn't his friend asking 'He's closed off to me,how can we get past it?':hugesmile:He has the aura of popularity which is the most important thing in the house, and Ben doesn't.

Ben would be destroyed by Govan if he openly came up against him,and it would end with Ben begging for forgiveness YET again, just as he did with Sunshine, and Shabby.

Whatever, this 'who's the strongest' will be settled when they finally do have a showdown.

But it's pretty obvious to anyone who's observed Ben mumbling, crawling, and backtracking and Govan firmly in the thick of things, with everyone he wants to associate with being drawn to him,
and the others he doesn't, left bitching out in the cold,or should I say BitchHut.:joker:

oh yeah, agree 100%. Govan would be fully allowed to do all this.

Ben would sit there like the humblest of lambs and apologise. He wouldnt argue with Govan face to face.

I disagree here though...

Ben has a solid group of allies. A lot has changed since Dave had a run in with Govan.

Govan WOULD win the face to face, agreed, but that just means he would be up.

In fact, sitting here right now as things are, I would put a lot of money on Govan being up next Friday anyhow. Ben has already marked him to his group as a major problem.

Ben isnt the type to do his own dirty work.

Haha,that did make me laugh

As a big Ben fan, I think it's too early to make the kind of judgements the OP is making. I think it could go either way - he could become very manipulative or he could get more relaxed and not worry.

However, look at it from his point of view, he's ahd Govan bitching about him behind his back ( and this was way before Ben's manipulations) and Shabby going beserk when Ben points out a few home truths and telling her troops to "avenge" her if she gets evicted.

He has 2 options. He can either fight back hard - this week get his attack in early - or risk being up and out next week.

If he is playing the game you're saying, I say good luck to him - he's playing it extremely well and is still remaining to be quite popular.

No, not really I think.

I am talking about the Ben I have seen, the one I an seeing now, and that's totally valid. Nothing I have said isnt based on behaviour I have watched, so this isnt about 'how it may go', it is about how I see it is.

True, I do project what I see as likely developments based on what I see as well, but he is what he is.

I don't buy the ' brave attacked guy fighting back' thing at all, I am suprised others do.

He came in with a plan and he has built his power block. So far so good for him.

I am not criticising him for playing the game, quite the opposite, I have given him props for doing just that. I don't like him, but I am pretty objective about most things.

But it takes a certain type of person to play the game as well as he is doing at this point- a cold machiavellian manipulator who owes his loyalty to no one but those he can use in order to win.

This is Ben.

Ben brave?

Ben even backstabbed his own friend Sunshine and gave her a vote for eviction. I think he did it only because he thought Sunshine was less popular than himself and if they've been both up she woul'd have been the one voted out.
