I think you have taken what I have said out of context. I was merely pointing out to someone who said 'You think hes common because he has a Northern accent, you must be Southern' that its not the fact hes got a northern accent, its the fact he cant speak properly in general.

Plus he does speak properly, if he doesn't then no one does either. Everybody uses some form of slang, it's just some peoples slang makes its way into 'proper' English while others doesn't.

so do some nathan fans want to enlighten me to what it is they like about him? i dont hate him with a passion... just dont see the appeal

Don't get me wrong I'm not saying everyone who speaks with an accent is common, I'm sure we'd be surprised to find that most of the everyday words we use arent 'real words'..... but Nathan IS common. His accent doesn't help, but there is just that common look around him.

steve brings as much as nathan does to be honest.... NOT ALOT. the difference is steve is cool to watch and has some interesting stories. im in the tattoo business so id support anyone heavily tattooed as BB hasnt had anyone like that before. steve seems a genuine top bloke and is alot older than nathan and has a wife...so he cant go running around jumping on women or jumping in the pool (for obv reasons) i wouldnt expect a older HM to bring much to it. but come on nathan is a young lad and should be having fun. i cant stand the bloke tbh
