:hello::hello::hello: I think most creation myths are insulting for the same reasons.

I started writing a novel on the topic but realized terms like "unfalsifiable hypothesis" "confirmation bias" would probably sound like Japanese. I blame education: specifically science and math. And people don't read enough non-fiction. And most people don't read at all.

I think you're rather underestimating people. You said most people don't read enough "non-fiction", after saying you were "writing a novel" on the subject. Most people I know read all the time on a wide variety of subjects, and I've found that science - and astronomy in particular -has never been a more popular subject than it is right now.

I like that people are interested in the subject

I've often thought that this may be the fact with Dinosaurs. These same Aliens which created humans and 'life' actually created Dinosaurs first. To which they left them to roam for a long time before deciding they were actually a bad idea. So they destroyed them, and created the life we live with now.

I'm no crazy guy, or mass believer or anything, but i do find this kind of thing interesting.
