Yes it is - kids don't like the older ones, especially when they are disabled - and, of course, they won't admit it, but it is obvious! There are far worse than Steve in there - and the hate for him is way over the top - unfortunately, what he is has everything to do with it!

I strongly disagree. I dislike him cos he is boring, nasty and and seems to get rewarded for contributing very little.

I think he acts with total disprespect for his family. But perhaps he has different standards to me.

Rubbish! It has everything to be with him being disabled - pretty obvious by the many comments and pathetic 'jokes' about him! His disability, together with his age and the way he looks - is what a lot of the 'kids' see and cannot see past! The constant hate for him when he has done nothing to deserve it is what is really BORING!

OK let me rephrase, the reason I do not want to see him on my TV any more is because I do not like his behaviour; his unwarranted self righteousness attitude.

I am not bothered about his legs or his eye or his arm, these visual only things, are thrust into the eyes of the viewer for the shock value nothing more.

I don't like him, and he makes me cringe to such a degree that I am losing my interest in BB so much I find myself muting the volume when he is waffling on.

He is a kill-joy, and regardless of whether someone has legs, or arms or two heads, someone like that is a misery to watch on TV.

I don't find him at all self-righteous! How is he self-righteous? Older hms are usually less inclined to put up with some of the childish, selfish antics of some of the younger ones - but why single him out!

I guess we all see different things in the hms we like or don't like - depending on our age and taste - but I certainly don't find anything about Steve to be disgusting or cringeworthy!

Well we do see different things. Females tend to be more offended by his behaviour.

I know his kind and people like that ALWAYS justify their behaviour, but I tell you what, I would not like to be his wife; I would be mortified by his grabing hands and creepy stares and I would also hate to be an object of his desire.

I am not wrong by saying I don't like the feeling he gives me when I see or him him, he turns my stomach and I'm not interested in his age, his disabilities, tattoos, shaved head, marital status etc.... I just don't like him and it ruins my pleasure having to put up with his presence in a show enjoy watching.

wise up everyone if john james acted like steve it would be O GOOD OLD JJ DOING IT FOR THE BOYS i look at steve and i can still see elements of a young good looking solider bb have given him confidence and i hope he feels good about himself he surely must be self concious and have restricted movement when everyone is jumping and going mad i say go on steve recapture some of your youth if only for a whild
