It's not just the physical stuff he's done, I also notice he can sometimes be a bit heavy with the ball breakin' and such. He seems to enjoy takin' the piss out of people and he'll really laugh about it whilst they're clearly not appreciating his behaviour.

Really how many ministers/fathers/priests have long hair with dye, tatoos and are rock music fans, whilst also having the kind of personality that Dave has? A real priest is incredibly nice and homely and welcoming and warm but Dave is more like the local butcher or the guy who works at the local pub.

Hes just a bit clumsy type of person and is a big guy, he has no nasty/bully streak at all.

She obviously felt very uncomfortable with it or she wouldn't have said he had a nasty streak...

Actually Dave IS the bloke from the local pub, he was a pest controller and a postman, they sacked him.

Exactly, he also joins in with the bitching a lot. And is quick to turn on people and put them down. He claims to be open minded, but don't think that at all.

Not really, nobody is hating, we're just telling it how it is.

Caoimhe should have replaced herself with Dave not Mario, but she didn't because she sees Mario as more of a threat to win.

Exactly.

But didn't you know InOne, you're not allowed to criticize CERTAIN HMs without being called a 'hater'. LOL.

What about the incident with his friend Ben. Throwing Caoimhe on top of Ben was that heavy-handed? do you think he was meant to throw her on the floor or on top of his mate Ben risking injury to both of them? At forty he should know that that is very dangerous.

Caoihme could have been injured or injured Ben. Couldn't careless I think. Has a nasty streak I think.

Well if you think he has this nasty streak in him you wouldnt like him would you?
Hes just a bit rough at times which is being over exaggerated to make it look far worse.

Also knowing full well that Ben was very annoyed with people keeping him awake.

So he threw Caoimhe into Ben to cause them harm? You really think that? :conf:
I would say he was probably a bit careless actually, not really thinking that it may hurt them but doing it for the fun, Im sure if he was told that he went a bit too far he'd sort it out, but instead they refer to bitching about it (well Josie, Caoimhe and Ben didnt complain tbh).

People wouldn't be complaining if they thought it was all fun and games.

vesavius 15-07-2010 05:43 PM

I am happy to let this go for the time, he obviously is not gonna be pulled up on it.

Debating whether he has intention to hurt, or indeed if he can control his ability to judge what hurts another HM or not when he has worked himself into an hysterical 'drunk' state, isnt gonna get us anywhere.

Give him enough rope and he will do it again.

Jords 15-07-2010 05:44 PM

I thought Josie knew it was fun and games, but thought Dave went a little too far, a bit like when John James dragged Sunshine along the carpet and gave her burns. He wasnt really pulled up for it by the public, so why is Dave being?

I thought he was heavy-handed. Which is it careless or heavy-hande? I call it damnright reckless without a care or thought to who gets hurt. Caoimhe is not a seven stone weakling but a well built girl that could have caused some damage had she landed awkwardly!

Most likely a bit of both!
You make him sound like an animal, totally OTT reaction.
