JJ only sounded half rational for once because he was mimicking Ben's slow reasoned tone in a lame attempt to sound not angry and like he can have a calm reasoned debate.He can't.

JJ managed to control the tone and volume(calm) but not the flimsy content(reason) of what he was actually saying; repeatedly badgering Ben about the team spirit thing when Ben himself admitted 80 years ago he can't be arsed.THERE WAS NOTHING TO PROVE JJ.

What a pointless conversation,it wasn't even an arguement,just repetition of the same points over and over again,whilst Ben gently nodded and suggested anger management therapy.

he was still thinking about it and the only reason he didnt go through with it is to keep his popularity not for the team if thats what you were going to say.

I switched off as I was finding JJ's bevahiour intolerable. I've really gone off the guy.
JJ will think he has won that argument in the house, because that's his passion in life creating arguments. Any argument sustained is a win for JJ.

Did JJ actually have a point to make or was he just want to demontrate his argumentiveness and delusion?

JJ's agressive and argumentative behaviour creates a palpable atmosphere which brings down the morale of the whole house more than lack of hot water would. It's not good viewing either.

John easily could have thrown his hands in the air and broken the task mid-conversation to demonstrate to Benny-boy his point. Benny-boy would have gone another 2 weeks without suitcase - BUT John did'nt
