Not At all.

so I get faster updates.

I don't want it back.

Marcus can still be asked to work on the New Ch5 BB Show
in its New location.

Getting Rid of the Current Producers is a Good thing.

Also PJ - you do not post as Much
which I miss
as you are a Wise Guy.

Give Richard Credit
this is Big Money that no other group had
he takes Big Risks,
The Star is just 20p - that is a Fun paper.

Marsh. 23-07-2010 07:16 PM

I'm worried it'd turn out like The Farm. The Star is always bull****ting about a sex room in the BB house and a load of crap which channel 5 would actually do.
We'd end up with ****ty contestants like the masturbating porn star and pig molesting slag.

Minnie who works on 'Live From Studio Five'
asked him Direct about Big Brother as it is on there show once a week.
He said yes we are in talks.

Dawn Airey who is the Ch5 Boss
has Endemol Contract to go through.

Big Brother was just also confirmed Live On SkyNews
as part of Richards Shopping list.

We have to wait for this current no good Ch4 one to End.

Then Ch5 can confirm BB on Ch5 from a Date they want.

:joker: Don't worry no one will be twisting your arm to make you watch it.....Unless of course that is part of the new format.......:joker:

BringItOn 23-07-2010 07:22 PM

Wow Richard Woofe is taking on two big shows, Big Bro & Most Haunted that have been around for the last ten years but arn't as popular as they used to be. Good luck with trying to bring them back to their former glory mate :) This could be a big change for five.

No as The Farm was when Ch5 was a Weaker Company.

Now they have Ch5HD on Sky and Virgin
and soon others.

New Ch5 Big Brother in HD and normal Ch5
Yes the way Forward.

Grimnir 23-07-2010 07:25 PM

channel 5 budget will be a lot smaller

so might get back to basics old school BB

and channel 5 + desmond = sex

old school BB and more sex will get my vote

Yeah, exciting eh?. I can't wait to see how "News of the world"esque BB get if he brings it back; attractive women allowed on the show only if they give it in writing that they'll get their t*ts out "for the lads" at least twice a day.

More booze and more "ladish behaviour" encouraged, while the women are expected to just go along with the patronising, borderline sexist behaviour, then, hated by other women watching the show if they don't , voted out as soon as possible, but even if theydo go along with it, they'll be hated all the same for it and voted out just as fast.

Just because BB may come back, doesn't mean it's a good idea. The important thing is what it looks like if it comes back.

Goal 23-07-2010 07:40 PM

You were moaning when you found out this would be the last BB, the another channel comes in to get it to keep it going and you still moan ffs does it matter what channel its on? As long as you are able to watch it why should it matter

i agree but im still worried the deal wont go through.

Mac Hiavellian 23-07-2010 08:02 PM

I never wanted BB to end but after these last few series I've finally accepted it needs at least a year's break. The idea of it being on Five was quite appealing despite the lower budget.

However, if the guy running the Daily Star takes over surely this would mean more glamour model types, more fame-hungry exhibitionists, sleaze and tackiness.

Im back now arista i had a small break :)

I think Channel 5 needs to revamp it. On twice a year at only a four week run for each series. Also, I hope they improve on Channel 4's ridiculous decision making.

MaratSafinForever 23-07-2010 08:36 PM

The ratings will be absolutely rubbish on 5.

What a hypocritical contradiction.

Times are changing.

That we will have to wait and see, to be fair.

prkp12 23-07-2010 08:53 PM

Oh I hope they do pick it up, i think the ratings would stay the same, i mean if at least 2 million people are watching everyday then im sure they will click next on the remote and do it next year!
And all the news stories i am reading are kinda sounding good!

Strongly agree. Let 2 or 3 Summers pass and it may need to return in a very different looking format and a unique new look and feel. I still say something much more 'mature' that goes far more to the 'original idea' in a more scary, realistic and profound way.

I have thrown this example/suggestion out to would-be future BB producers but take a look at Horizon's superb 2-part series 'How Mad are You' if that were done as a Big Brother experiment.

They may also need to accept it will not be a huge spectacle and may even need to start small/unheralded and build an audience again.

But yeah.. at least a few seasons and a new format before it works again.

LBB11 23-07-2010 09:16 PM

Ch5 has had some good shows like Prison Brake The Mentalist Flasforward CSI and my fav so far Brun Notest. Dont know how BB would be on 5 but we,ll have to wate and see if 1. they realy do buy it and 2. They find some way to make it like new so to say.
