I don't know why people find it so difficult to comprehend that people outside the UK watch the UK Big Brother, myself included. He obviously wanted badly to be on A Big Brother (he auditioned for our version) and used his British ancestory to his advantage. If I were going to go on another countries BB I would do some research myself so there's no surprise that he can spout of different BB ''statistics'' here and there.

TBQH one of the strengths of the UK version is the diversity from having English,Welsh,Scottish and Irish housemates along with ''foreigners'' like John James or say Sree or Rodrigo from last year.

As far as I know he was born in Australia and I assume his parents have been had been here a long time (his Mum had a regular Aussie accent). He obviously has family in the UK (many anglo Australians do).

how dare he watch a show before he applies to be on it

Its not news that he has watched the show. Thats been obvious from week one. But the more he yaps about it the more obvious it is how deeply he looked into the stats. I mean, Ive watched all 11 series(except most of BB9) but still know nothing about viewing figures and statty stuff. Just seems that he's studied it with a calculated eye. An eye to win and get some career out of it.

And its clear he's ticking the boxes on what to do to get airtime. He was itching for arguements in the first week. Poor Rachael was his victim but she wouldnt take his bait.
