Why is she still letting his children live this evil life ?

It's only evil in the eyes of some - to others it may be saintly (or just plain deluded! ;))

I ain't disputing any of this chuff.

He does indeed know what he's doing.

Promoting his lewd little cult seems to be his main objective over all.

Rather have 'blinkers' as you put it - than falsely accuse people, with no evidence whatsoever - potentially ruining them and their family's lives!

Plenty of us have seen the evidence Wombal, just because you do not believe it does not make it false...

I hope his life is ruined, the man is scum...

Jezzy 19-08-2010 05:17 PM

What evidence have you seen, FG and others, that makes you so sure Dave is not utterly convinced in his beliefs?

Evidence on Big Brother, Dave saying himself that he can cure cancer for a "donation".. Not to mention all the videos on YouTube of his disgusting behaviour...

Just because you didn't see it Wombal...

It is not "personal interpretation" how on earth else can you interpret his videos on YouTube??? Are you saying he is infact simply taking the pi**???

I am also basing my opinions on things he has said in the house, not just the YouTube videos anyway, as well you know...

Shasown 19-08-2010 05:34 PM

Yes you really are.

Why not wait till he gets out the house then he can answer your criticisms in person.

That would be quite interesting.

Me too ,without seeing the videos I hated him ,the videos were just the final straw ,when he went in wearing a monks outfit to con the public into think he was a proper man of the cloth was the start for me

Exactly. How did he think that wearing a brown habit was going to make him more accessible to the young?
Monks enjoying a laugh has been done centuries ago.
Surely he should be wearing a t-shirt and jeans if he really wants to appeal to the young.

But the way he has behaved in the house has nothing to do with Christianity.
Pointing out a person's faults publicly as he is doing on TV is against the 8th Commandment.

High five, Liv. The only other religion not to have that as no.8 is Catholic....and that has the false witness thingy as 8. Afaik, God didn't have pointing people's faults out on a TV show in mind.

BLORN 19-08-2010 08:47 PM

i like how this has become a child services issue :joker:

Exactly! He has earned his postion in there as he has been the most entertaining!

Indulging in a bit of bitching, along with all the others - is just about self-preservation! Being religious doesn't mean you have to been a saint - and it's hardly real - it's for a gameshow prize!

Moses was one of my lot. I claim the upper hand on the Ten Commandments thing LOL... And no, I'm sure if I checked thoroughly there would be no mention of TV shows.

Completely OT, and just as a point of interest, as I am fascinated by comparative religion and its similarities...the Mabinogion also has a child found in reeds adopted into a royal kingdom. But also no TV shows.
