The Beatles - The Beatles (The White Album)

I know I've raved over Revolver many times on here, but I think the White Album just might rival it as the Beatles' best. Yes there is filler, but certainly not much. Surprisingly it isn't a radical departure from what they were already doing, but its best moments sound like a mature refinement of their Revolver-Sgt. Pepper sound while also expanding on it. There is also that sense of sprawl that invariably draws comparisons from other bands' big double albums (the Stones' Exile on Main Street and Sonic Youth's sublime Daydream Nation to name a couple).

Stacey.X has converted me to Taylor Swift, I love the Fearless album and also the first album too,so I will get the new one Speak Now later in the week.

Thanks for mentioning her so much, I like to open up to artistes I haven't listened to before.You passed a good set of music on to me there.
