Couple of years ago I was a huge (Mobile Suit) Gundam Wing fan, have the DVDs (originals, not the crappy English dubbed ones), and I still own a quite big GW Doujinshi collection (god, I loved the art of DEGITAL PAPA), but lately I don't watch Anime

I remember Gundam Wing, It used to be on Cartoon Network.

The US dubbing was unbearable, I hated the Cartoon Network version.

I also loved Yami no Matsuei

Sorry for bumping a month old thread but.. I'm starting to get into anime myself. As a child, i used to watch Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh!, but recently i found a site that lets me watch anime so i been watching stuff on there.

So far i have watched Death Note, Elfen Lied and am in the process of watching Lucky Star (if my laptop doesn't keep playing up on me :bored:) with plans to watch Fairy Tail later.

Oh cool, I have considered watching ELfen Lied actually, I probably will, I've heard good things about it. :hugesmile:

It's a very good anime and manga but be warned, it has a LOT of violence and gore in it and also a lot of nudity too. The story is really quite touching at times but the ending of the anime comes too soon. The manga goes on for another 30-ish chapters from the end of the anime as well.

Yes, I'm aware some of the content. :joker: I don't know much about manga tbh. I am gonna start watching Bleach properly soon, if I don't get into it then I'll watch Elfen Lied.

I seen a few episodes of Bleach years ago but didn't really get into it. From what i hear, it starts good but goes downhill and later has a lot of filler episodes in it.

By the way, do you prefer watching the dubbed or subbed versions of the anime?

I've actually borrowed Elfen Lied off a friend, I was going to watch it for my FMP research but never got round to it, I've heard a lot of good stuff about it.

The plot of Bleach is very interesting to me but the drawing is terrible and I noticed there are so many episodes, it could become very repetitive, very fast.

Oh I have only ever watched subbed, it's not Anime to me if it's not in Japanese.

It depends for me, if it's live action it has to be subbed as dub detracts from the acting but with animation I don't mind dub if they don't butcher the original script or change the plot.

I have finished all of Minami-Ke now and I am watching Jigoku Shoujo aka Hell Girl, there are three seasons and each season has 26 episodes and I am on Season 2 Episode 10. :D I have decided not to watch Bleach.

Haven't been able to watch any in like a year because of my stupid internet. :bored:

Been getting into reading manga though. :amazed: I read all of cardcaptor sakura a few days ago.

Time to start watching Dragonball Z again
