She managed it pretty well Saturday and Sunday night

BB Katie:xyxwave:

His last album has sold almost 2 million in the US, and has gone platinum here and in Canada aswell... so crap or not he's still selling much better than most other rap artists.

Rihanna, Mark Ronson, Wale, Ting Tings, Daniel Merriweather.. all managed by his label and all famous around the world. Same thing will happen if he does manage Cher and Katie, even if you think they can't sing or whatever with the promotion they'd be getting and with the artists they'd be performing with, it'd be almost impossible for them not to sell well.

subjective; taking place within the mind and modified by individual bias; "a subjective judgment"

objective; undistorted by emotion or personal bias; based on observable phenomena; "an objective appraisal"; "objective evidence"

In this case your subjective judgement is that you don't like her style and tone of singing, or her personality, but the objective evidence is that she can sing well, you just don't like her style/tone [which is your subjective opinion]. You can either sing well or you can't - to determine that it has to be looked at objectively, not subjectively.

Jack, again stop being "patronising" and also a spelling nazi.

I dislike Katie yes, I still think she has a bad voice. I am perfectly capable of admitting when a person who I don't like has a good voice, Cher for example.

Eh? Where did I correct your spelling? Now I am confused... :conf:

But she doesn't have a bad voice [as the Sunday performance shows]...it's the terrible songs she's been given that's the problem.

I assumed that's what you were doing when you put patronising in inverted commas

That is your view, I thought she sang ok on Sunday not great though. Pretty much every other song she's sang on the live shows she's absolutely murdered.

And as for the bad song choices, ever heard the phrase a bad workman blames his tools?.........

Oh, no, I put it in inverted commas because I was directly quoting something you said.

Yes I have heard that, but the songs she's been given haven't just been bad, they've essentially been joke songs. The Jungle Book? Bewitched? WTF? And to be quite honest I thought she's made the best of a bad job on them. Her sing-off performances have been far superior, and that's because she's been chosing her own songs...

If Katie wins then the British Public change their minds very quickly. If she wins then the british public are douchebags

Her sing off songs haven't been great imo and tbh the joke songs were her best performances, The No Doubt song was just horrible (and I love that song) as was the Queen song.

It's not really an Opinion that you think she can't sing when she is obviously singing.. what else do you think she is doing?

She can't sing, she's irritating and she only sometimes remembers the words to her songs. I would rather Wagner won than her.

So would I, but I am near as sure as I can be that she's gone this week, especially if its a double elimination.

It really is rediculous that she is still there at all, she is not that quirky or original, Diana Vickers was much more so, she is not a particularly good singer, her standout performance is a song from Jungle Book.

She will 'only' be most remembered for all the 2nd chances she has been unfairly given in this series and for being highly unprofessional and forgetting the words to a song in a vital sing off.
