I dont see how those two fan bases will have that much of an effect on his vote share.

He didnt back down he simply explained the comment. You may have not believed it but if Cheryl really had issues she'd have continued the argument. She made her point he countered and made her look like a petulant diva.

Cheryl fans, probably hate him anyways, even before tonight. She has always shown comtempt for Wagner in his previsous performances. This is the first time she went personal, but she has always have the same attitude towards him. So if her fans, follow her like a dog, and dislike who she dislike, then they probably hate Wagner anyways. SO no votes lost there.

And he did everything but back down, unless you were watching another show. He actually went after her, he didnt back down, he made her look like an utter fool!!! Only foolish people will believe what the press write, and dont know about how they take things oyut of contest and twist it!

And Wagner in the Bottom 2 tomorrow!!!?? LOL! Keep dreaming. This event will only give Wagner, more casual voters votes. If I voted on the Xfactor, I would vote for him tonight, just based on that altercation.

Most of Wagners support comes from people who hate the show or want to make a mockery of the show. Any pro-Cheryl people who thought he was a laugh probably own't be voting for him anymore, and people who don't like her might be less likely to by him pretending to like her. Meanwhile, Wagner remains in our benefits system.

it seems you are right joey.

I dont really care for either one of them but the way i saw it was a major double standard on her part

When there is press about katie / cher we are told not to believe all we read in the papers but then she calls wagner out, on national TV in front for 16 mill viewers for a story in the very papers we are told by her not to believe

Good on wagner for putting her straight. he more than likely DID make comments but did he make them exactly as reported? who knows

the way she acted was totally unprofessional and totally irresponsible for a judge who is meant to be offering constructive advice to acts (not that she does but that is her job)

nanaimo 20-11-2010 09:07 PM

i think alot of votes have gone to wagner because of the unfair way katie is still in competition to be fair and wow some serious ass kissing tonight for katie from simon

Again I dont think those people will have much of an effect on his vote share. The Pro-Cheryl fans are voting for her girls no matter what and the Anti-Cheryl fans will have enjoyed that her attempt to humiliate him backfired.

Either way the live show was not the platform for her attack. She didnt look to classy tonight.

Zippy 20-11-2010 09:09 PM

Wagner can hang on a couple more weeks. Doesnt change the fact that he has zero future as a musical artist.

At best he'll be some z-list novelty celeb. But he's not even funny away from the camp crappy performances so he really has no great shelf life.

Noone knows if it was set up or not though, though that is the obvious defense from Cheryl fans :)

and thats the obvious retaliation from non-Cheryl fans :) Knowing X Factor, the way the story was leaked, what happened and the fallout, its safe to say it was set up.

If it was set up I don't think Wagner was in on it he looked very nervous to me

If that was the case then its another reason why the protest voters will continue....this show is supposed to be about various acts going on live tv and singing and the public voting who's best....not about some alledged bullsh1t in a bloody paper.

Iceman 20-11-2010 09:21 PM

Always liked her up until tonight. And excuse me if I'm wrong does Princess Cole not always bang on about how she doesnt read tabloids, how they dont affect her (which she was clearly rattled about tonight) and how not to always believe what you read?

Because he probably wasn't, the producers have just seen a massive opportunity for discussion/headlines and grasped it fully

Guess who's being called all the names under the sun on here, DS and other forums? Cheryl not Wagner. Her tiara slipped tonight.
