:amazed: Bizarre flashback! I think my mum used to mash mine too! She used to also include them in her veg soup (which she used to have to liquidise for me as I refused to eat any veg pieces) and tell me that there was no sprouts in it, but I could taste them a mile off! Oh it's all coming back to me now!

Lol.. I never really eat any either. The only thing I will eat is parsnips roasted in honey. I do however put veg on my own plate every night but althoug I don't often make faces out of it any more, I do just move it about a bit then hide some under something else so my plate looks a bit better :D

LOL they are awful!

As soon as I saw them on my plate that Christmas I was like "NO WAY am I eating those!!" then she was like "One sec you might like them mashed with some butter :)". I tried 'em like that and was like "-.- they are still disgusting Mum."

My Dad tried to put broccoli in shepherds pie once, thinking I wouldn't notice. It turned all the mash green :bored:

Yeah, I love stir fry.. I manage to "hide" veg in other meals too.. eg I grate two carrots into my bolognese soat least I know I'm getting some goodness. But, yeah, in general veg sucks!

They're disgusting

Redway 24-12-2013 09:34 PM

Repugnant.

Apple202 24-12-2013 09:38 PM

i dont like them, but don't see the big difference between them and any other vegetable

james130 24-12-2013 09:48 PM

We have em chopped up with chestnuts and diced bacon.
Best thing ever!

smudgie 24-12-2013 10:08 PM

Nope, not fussed on them.
I always pop 2 on my plate at Christmas sometimes even manage to eat one of them.
I scorch them in butter then add a touch of mint sauce to the pan as well.
