Of course you can. But if you look at it now you will see a shadow over the moon. At 7:40 the sun, earth and moon will align and the moon be totally in shadow becoming dark. Basically all three are in a row and the moon is in darkness until the rest moves about as it does......

UGH trust the houses opposite to be blocking the moon, dont think I can face going outside in -12 just to see it.
