Sandi Thom went to my school! And now she's famous! Also, I saw her perform at Free at the Dee 2005, long before anyone else had heard her. She performed I Wish I Was A Punk Rocker and another song (forgotten the name) and I went up at the end and asked about her but at the time she hadn't been signed by a record label.

Everyone needs to check out 'Hope of the States'
(Although actually it should only apply to indie-rock fans. But still :thumbs: Most amazing band, EVER).
It's dramatic. They eschew verse-chorus in favour of almost classical structures; blasts of pure noise that somehow coexist with beautiful, sublimely bittersweet symphonies. :hello: Okay I'm done. :spin2:

I quite like Pink - have not heard her new one much yet even though it's listed on The Hits (I watch that quite a bit!) but like her last one!

I'm also loving The Ordinary Boys' new one but have yet to hear the PCD's new one although I'm digging PCD's and Ordinary Boys (among many others!) at the moment. And of course there's a new single from a certain Mr Ward to look out for as well - I've heard it and I reckon it sounds quite similar to Westlife.
