Big society my arse! making severe cuts to public services that serve some of the most poor and needy in the country while the people that funded the tory scums election campaign (big buisness and city bankers) are allowed to avoid paying tax. It stinks!
Typical tory bullshine they havent changed one bit still looking after their own.

vodafone alone have been allowed to avoid £6 billion in taxes thats roughly the same amount of money the tory scum are trying to take off the poor.

Oh well, deserves all he gets then in my view.

I don't understand why those with their faces near covered are not taken aside until they reveal their full identities. I saw them marching on TV and thought immediately they are likely trouble so why not make them reveal their identity clearly rather than let them join the march with masks on etc.

A Fire has now been lit in Oxford Street.

A Nightingale is singing in Berkley Square

Zippy 26-03-2011 03:44 PM

nobody on a march should be allowed to cover their face

Grimnir 26-03-2011 03:50 PM

watching the people climb that building is quite entertaining

The Spanish Bank Rammed.

You Stupid Student Punks - nothing to do with the UK.

Judas 26-03-2011 04:45 PM

I hope it isn't focussed on the rioting ****s, but more on the actual purpose of the protests.

I consider myself far from right wing but I don't see the point in these protests. It is a march for 'the alternative' but nobody has actually said what the 'alternative' is. There was some shi-ted up article I was reading in The Guardian and even their suggetsions for 'an alternative' were laughable. I do think cuts are the only way for us to ever begin to cut back the growing debt we have, although maybe the cuts are to severe for now.

Also, does anyone else find Edd Millibands actions interetsing. I could never imagine Tony Blair speaking at an event like this - I can imagine today being reflected on in history as a key signal of Labour returning to the leftt.

Judas 26-03-2011 04:49 PM

Just to add - I do believe that cooperation tax needs to be sorted. Let's hope this is the last sign the government need.
