My sister bribed me into watching a Freddie Krueger film when I was about 8 or 9 and afterwards I was too scared to sit on the loo, sit in the car or just generally sit down anywhere on sofas because I thought Freddie's claw was going to rip through and stab me. Also there was a scene where his mouth/tongue comes through the phone and I was terrified of answering the phone lmao.

The Shining was a real "didn't sleep for days" film too but I grew to love it and it has become one of my favourite films now.

ALSO I don't know why the hell this happened but I watched The Birds when I was in Year 3 and I'm sure that's where my fear of seagulls comes from. They WILL attack one day!

Seagulls are evil swines! When I lived by the coast as a kid I remember walking along the promenade and a seagull flew down and attacked this old couple for their fish and chips. They were so scared bless them.

I remember when I was about 10...going to a sleepover and they made me watch a horror called rumpelstiltzskin I think it was. I was terrified for weeks.

Thats the only film that has ever scared me. And Im pretty sure it was because of my age, was the first horror film I had seen. Been trying to find it for a while to see if it was actually scary but not 100% sure on the name and nothing has shown up with searches
