On FX and FX HD now

Locke. 21-08-2011 06:00 PM

I have caught up with the UK now. It is quite good but some parts of it are so stupid and annoying.

On the run from a small army, hide out in a house and let the doctors daughter make all kinds of noise by playing the piano. And then later on let her sing at Mike's funeral.

The main characters son hasn't mentioned his girlfriend since she was taken by the skitters about 6 episodes ago.

And they wasted about 5 minutes of screen time for characters that actually matter to show some random pregnant woman talk about her baby then find out it wouldn't be an easy birth.

Porter is a good character though, and Captain Dan.

I cant stand the main son,he gets to big of a role and the actor just simply cant act.

Yeah the bit with the piano was stupid, Lourdes isn't Anne's daughter though

I think someone said further back in the thread that they make some stupid decisions , I agree with that, some of the things they do leave me thinking wtf!

My favourite characters so far are Weaver & Margaret, I kinda like Pope atm but my opinion of him keeps changing.

Locke. 21-08-2011 06:25 PM

Pope just looks like The Situation from Jersey Shore with long hair. I had to check on IMDb that they weren't the same person.

And if she isn't her daughter why do they seem so close, and were holding hands before they set out with the guy who was trading kids with the aliens :suspect:

I'm not sure why they are so close, I think Anne's kid either got snatched or killed at the first invasion.

Locke. 21-08-2011 06:33 PM

Don't be telling me what happens then :nono:

Locke. 22-08-2011 01:05 AM

Just watched episode 9

Spoiler:

Hal finally mentioned his girlfriend!!!!!!!

And I don't think Dan is gonna be making it through the next episode :(

Novo 22-08-2011 01:06 AM

Josy what are you doing watching second rate tv shows? I expect it from Locke but not from you

Locke. 22-08-2011 01:07 AM

This show is a bit better than the Vampire Diaries

Novo 22-08-2011 01:08 AM

Josy will say otherwise

Locke. 22-08-2011 06:33 PM

The last episode is really good

Spoiler:

The last scene is really poor though :joker: As if they wouldn't have noticed a giant spaceship about 10 meters above them, and the alien that came out looked like something from a 1995 playstation 1 game.

The story is going well though, season 2 should be good as long as they don't concentrate 90% of the story on Tom in the spaceship.

Smithy 22-08-2011 06:33 PM

have you watched all of them already? D:

Locke. 22-08-2011 06:39 PM

Terry O'Quinn has signed up for a guest role in the US sci-fi series Falling Skies.

The former Lost star (he played John Locke) will appear in the final two episodes of the show's second season, Entertainment Weekly reports.

He will play a former history professor and mentor to Falling Skies main character Tom Mason, played by former ER star Noah Wyle.

As well as featuring in Lost, O'Quinn has had roles in shows such as JAG, Alias and The West Wing. Most recently, he had a part in the second season of Hawaii Five-0.

Falling Skies will return this summer to British satellite channel FX.
