And no they shouldn't be able to inflict their smoke on others in enclosed areas. I don't want to inhale it or have it make my clothes stink, thanks. Other than that they can do what they like to their own health. Their choice.

Exaggeration ...much !!

I do like the smell of smoke though.

Charlie, you've been away for less than a full day just about. Give yourself some time.

Yes. Murderers.

Smokers are only having to congregate outside because they are not allowed to smoke inside pubs and clubs etc,
I know most people are far more intimated by a group of people drinking outside the doorway as opposed to smokers smoking.

Most smokers go out together to carry on conversations while smoking,I don't smoke, have many firends who do and if I am talking to them on a topic inside, should they want to go out and have a cigarette,I would go with them, in doing so I guess I would likely be seen by zippy as being one of the new crack addicts he descibes for being seen doing so despite not even having a cigarette.

Of course smokers have rights, just as people have the right to make judgements on them for doing so, even if their judgements are borne out of prejudice and are wrong.
I'd rather be around a load of smokers than people with really prejudiced views, that's for sure.

Mind you, I often find ex-smokers are the worst now for criticising smokers.

Wrong.

SMOKING is ..... not the smokers.

lostalex 17-07-2011 03:11 PM

One of the only redeeming qualities about smoking is that it really pisses off the shrill and obnoxious anti-smoking crusaders.

Has anyone else noticed a very strange connection between anti-smoking crusaders and evangelical christians?

That whole logic of "i'm trying to SAVE YOU!" is disturbing to me.

There are plenty of people in the world who need help and are begging for it. I'm not one of them, thanks.

Yup, and the ironic part is, that all the fun states, you can't smoke in the bars/pubs, and all the states you have no desire to go to, all allow smoking. It's quite depressing.

New York, California, no smoking. Alabama, North Dakota, go on and smoke!

Rednecks get it right sometimes (like a broken clock)

InOne 17-07-2011 03:38 PM

Would've thought NY would have had it lol Like walking into those back alley smokey bars in the films

seriously. The anti-smoking lobby is as fanatical as the anti-abortion lobby. They all are self-righteous twats thinking they are superheroes saving the weak and defenseless.

Patronizing bullsheet.
