TBF, some Scottish accents are hellish... mine being one, and I'd be the first to admit to it, for many years it was softened due to years abroad, but being back home... and you tend to revert back to what's natural !!

Some of the softer Scottish lilts are lovely - the accents from some of the Islands are incredibly easy on the ear.
