But people say it is basically an edited show and they choose the winner basically. But then again, Im a Celebrity get me out of here is the same, it is an edited show and is very entertaining with the right camp mates. Yet it is very successful.

They are idiots for taking away what virtually every Big Brother around the world has had and still has. They just want to make it as trashy as I'm a Celebrity. And not everybody who watches Big Brother does so because they want trash. I'm sure many who have watched Big Brother have hardly watched any of the other half assed reality shows.

yes, well haven't you noticed that the more entertaining ones tend to stay on later on that show?? Maybe no live feed is for the best lol

People watch IAC and BB for different reasons. You can't really compare them.

So it is scamming viewers, ardent BB fans, to a degree.

More fool the people who vote. It's literally throwing money at nothing.

I don't have the time to sit around all day and watch a half muted feed of a bunch of people I won't care about in a few weeks time. You're acting like BB is some grand high brow program when in reality it's just laughing at a bunch of sub humans getting pissed and making fools of themselves. Like I said before, It's fluff and nothing more. I don't get 'manipulated' (ROFL) by BB because my life doesn't revolve around it, I'll catch it if nothing else is on or if i'm not doing anything.

If you have the time and patience to watch a bunch of people sitting and picking their noses then more power to you but don't berate people who don't because it's not something to be proud of really.

You have a good point dude but IAC's original format was never about watching the house 24/7 at our discretion - it's about watching Celebs making dicks out of themselves in Bush Tucker Trials.

God I can't wait for IAC now.

No but, BB was different - they've basically took a right we had from Day 1 away from us, gave it back in BB11 and teased us with it and then removed it again. :bored:

I would of rather of had live feed this year than BB11 though - rather than sitting listening to Josie and John whisper in the covers.

Some people are saying no announcement was made?

There have been a few people on Twitter that have said some PR people have said they didn't know the situation with live streaming, some have said they know and aren't allowed to say, so it's mixed messages from everyone at the moment.
Channel 5 just need to send a press release out or something and confirm it.

Its not worth paying for me.

No, it's not. It's really not. Certain nights are bad. Certain segments can be horrible. But bird noises form the minority of feed audio, not the majority.

I'd question the sanity of anyone who says it's mostly bird noises. It's just not, is it.

According to bbspy on twitter, there's still no official word about the live feed returning or not, which means that it may have not been axed, though i've lost hope in it's return anyway... :(

BigBrotherfan4ever 15-08-2011 06:31 PM

Just seen this on DS's No LF Thread.

In the meantime DS have news but are not allowed to issue it till midnight?
That means theres still a chance that we have a live feed?

*mazedsalv** 15-08-2011 06:39 PM

I would not believe anything until official confirmation comes through. A DS member put this brilliantly, the member said that the tweet was made at 1:03pm, as soon as the people walked through the front door (I'm sure they arrived at 1:02pmish), so that would mean someone would have been standing at the door, and screamed "Theres no LF" in order for the tweet to come in at that time. And I doubt that was done.

No official announcement cant say im surprised by this at all.Did you really think twitter leaks would be the way to go about this.An official announcement will be made by press release.i know it has been frustrating as C5 have been so silent but there is nothing we can do atm but wait

Blog Rider 15-08-2011 06:58 PM

They could broadcast it on live-stream, Here a example feed from that site:

http://www.livestream.com/hyperstar

:)

Blog Rider 15-08-2011 06:58 PM

Sorry for the double post :(

mymidas 15-08-2011 07:11 PM

OK tv mentioned 24hr cameras in the xfactor houses. If they broadcast this on a feed then BB LF will pale into insignificance. A choice of what 4 houses is it with an assortment of rooms and characters all competetive wannabes, sound familiar to anyone?
Has OK tv mentioned this to basically get rid of the moaners? Seems an odd coincidence to me may be why CB5 decided to can LF if that is what they have done I dont blame them they cannot compete with ITV for viewers or quality.

AJ. 15-08-2011 08:06 PM

Doubt I'll watch now after watching from the start :(

billy123 15-08-2011 08:11 PM

So whats going on with the c5 website its been down on and off for 24 hours now i was convinced they were setting it up for live feed.
