They feel as though they can take the risk and start up without backing because they know if the world falls from underneath them there's a safety net of wealth.

Its almost like background wealth can give you the courage to take risks that you wouldn't otherwise have done, whereas a normal person would have to seriously think twice before going it alone.

It can be honorable but most of the time its just a free lunch and they often get put in very high positions right away such as vice chairman which frankly they don't deserve.

Anyway, saying he wanted to be a gay icon - and then backtracking when BB called his bluff - has probably not done his credibility any good, anyway.

True he wasn't asked to pose naked, but it might have crossed his mind. (I doubt that it did though)


As for what the housemates say in their VT do any of them really live up to that 3 minute character introduction ?

There is still a massive difference between not minding to appeal to the gay community as opposed to being an a photo shoot to be included in a gay mag.

Nothing was outlined as to what form this photo shoot was to take, Harry may well have thought it would be a nude set of pics.
I have many gay friends,male and female, I would never though take part in any photo shoots that were going to be made avialable to a gay mag, or any other mag for that matter.

I don't think Harry knew what the photoshoot entailed - if my memory serves me right it was just announced as a photoshoot for a gay magazine - that probably conjured up a lot of things in Harry's mind and that's why he said no.

I think they said underwear shoot. I honestly don't think he would have agreed to do an underwear shoot for any type of magazine.
