They probably have a fake ID

I first went out when I was 14, but I'm one of the youngest out of my group of friends so I could just get away with looking younger even though I looked older than I was when I was in my early teens. i could grow a full beard by the time I was 14/15 (and some of my mates still can't :joker:) so I just didnt have a shave before I went out and I looked older anyway :idc:

They so have a fake ID, who has never had one? :idc:

Or nice genuine people who have their head in the right place :)

Tom 30-09-2011 01:45 PM

The right place is in a nightclub :amazed: well when you're under 18 anyway

Going out lost all its novelty when I hit 18

It just seems like a dull, boring waste to me.

I can understand - a couple of drinks of beer in the house and then going out clubbing, but I don't get this whole 'Let's drink wine with a lovely Chinese Take Out ladies! :)' thing that women seem to do.

This has got to be the most ridiculous thing to post ever.

The whole post is presuming that people only drink alcohol in order to get sloshed.

1) You can drink and enjoy beer and wine without the need to get absolutely pissed.

2) You can have fun without getting pissed aswell.

That's the main problem I had with a lot of school kids who would spend a good half hour downing whatever they could get their hands on trying to get as bladdered as possible in the shortest amount of time possible and then spend the rest of the night laughing about how they can't walk in a straight line, throw up in the road, lose their knickers, go to bed and then end up losing 3 days of their life in some deep depression/hangover.

Sitting at home or in a nice pub/bar actually enjoying what you're drinking whilst actually indulging in conversation with family and friends is a much more fun way to spend an evening.

I much prefer going out, but I hate doing the same thing over and over.

Ramsay 02-10-2011 11:43 PM

The best parties are the ones where you dont know 90% of the people

Jords 02-10-2011 11:44 PM

I do know them but dont talk to them :joker:

Go, see how you feel. If you're not comfy just leave. :) More often than not it's the apprehension of thinking it will be dire thats worse than the actual thing

And by not going you'll feel great I suppose?? Or just the same?

Sorry, don't mean to lecture you. Just know you'll probably beat yourself up if you DON'T go just as much as if you do and hate it.

Ugh, ignore me. I'm going all physcology head :D

Jords 02-10-2011 11:55 PM

Yeah I always do :(

Have a real issue avoiding awkard situations as best I can. But I think its because everybody 'knows' each other and has a pre-conceived idea of what theyre like and yeah I shouldnt care but hmph.

Marsh. 02-10-2011 11:55 PM

Kerry speaks wise words.
