Sure, it probably does hurt somewhat, but is it excruciating?
Think of girls on a rollercoaster...they all scream.....why?
Are they over exaggerating their fear?
Guys don't scream like a banshee do they
What about women who are into bondage and S&M, can they handle the pain better?
How about the "period", is that over exaggerated too? Maybe its just used as an excuse to be angry and vent steam to their partners
Does culture have any relevance? Do some cultures feel the pain more than others or is it universal?

Yes and the women that are Stressed at birth time , can get the Pain 50 times more.

Having a baby in water is best.

All evidence points to the fact that WOMEN are stronger than MEN.

*Faints*

You are 100% correct. It HAS been proven over and over again.

When were you told this: in Primary 1 or Primary 2? Teachers aren't into scaring the young kiddiewinkies at such a tender age.

i remember reading once that the reason women suffer pain in childbirth is because we became erect

if women still went around on all fours the pain would be a lot less

It's certainly true if men didn't become erect, women wouldn't have to go through childbirth

Ach don't be so bloody stupid. If we went around on all fours, how the hell are we meant to reach the cooker.

Pfft... men. They really never think of the practicalites of life.

Photon 04-10-2011 04:44 PM

Well it depends on what you're talking about. For example, when discussing sex, men have been found to over exaggerate their number of partners, sexual encounters, etc. Women do the exact opposite. This issue is also why men were long considered to account for the vast majority of adulterers. Though, thanks to society slowly deciding that sex isn't the root of all evil, more women are confident about their sexuality and such studies are becoming slightly more even as time goes on. Awww yeah

The head of a baby is designed to squash down and then 'fix' itself when it comes out

Have heard stories though, and apparently waterbirths are quicker and less painful :suspect:
