If I had a penny for all the double standard posts on this board... I'd have, like, £3.94 right now.

GypsyGoth 14-10-2011 12:52 AM

Everyone seemed a bit drunk. Harry was in the wrong for throwing the water. Alex felt humiliated, Tom overreacted a bit, and Harry looked like he was a bit ashamed he had done it. Lastly trying to put Tom down for how he speaks was rude, Harry usually has more class than that.

I dont really care now you wont see me jumping up and down crying for 2 weeks about it and demanding he be thrown out that would just be childish but i will see it for what it is and just judge harry and aarons character by it. :)

Yes, which is the only reason you care. I think that was what Roy mars was saying :)

My mistake i misread that one

Having now watched the videos, I can't see how anyone could possibly side with Harry over Tom. Tom never said anything about hitting Harry, he only mentioned that had Harry had done that (throwing water in a girl's face) on the outside, he'd be sparked out for it. Sorry, as much as I like Harry, he came across as obnoxious and I don't blame Tom or anyone else for being angry at him.

I don't think anyone should have been thrown out this series, and I definitely haven't been crying about it.

EDIT: I think I probably said Jay should've thrown out in the freezer threads, but I wasn't serious.

You'd think it was Acid the way she reacted..

"The Aaron fans"

We all share the same brain apparently.

You think we're bad, we have to put up with those who do nothing but talk down Aaron - that's literally all I see them post about. No doubt that that causes these situations where people will defend Aaron no matter what, just because of the ridiculousness of the accusations thrown at him - anything he does (or even other housemates do) will somehow get turned against him.

+1 As I mentioned in my opening post, I am a Harry fan, but his attitude there really riled me. He just came across as incredibly pompous and arrogant. As did Aaron by just constantly smirking the whole time Tom was speaking.
He did the same to Jay during their argument imitating his accent.

I don't like that kind of attitude at all. I'm willing to admit when my favourite does something wrong that I completely don't agree with. Hopefully he cuts it out, and they make friends again soon. I could see myself very quickly going off him if that kind of attitude continues.

In fairness that's always going to happen with the big characters in there, because he's so prominent a figure in the house he's likely to provoke strong reactions, both good and bad

Such a great point. Even this thread has turned into an Aaron thread, with Aaron fans getting the blame for everything too. Aaron had nowt to bloody do with it.

For the record everyone, while I'm on, talking about the FANS of housemates is actually against the rules, people should be able to discuss the housemates without bringing fans into it :)

It was a good topic which sparked loads of debate with loads of opinions it just gets annoying when people drill the life out of the subject to the point when everyones bored to death of it (even them) to try and use it as a little point scoring excercise there are a few that overdo it and need to move on with their lives.
This is another great topic with some good debates but im betting this one which could be seen as an actual assault will be forgotten about a lot quicker :)

Tom wont forget it he will nom harry for sure now.

Storm in a teacup. Had tom not gone overboard it probably would have been resolved 5 mins after it happened :joker:

Harry wants to leave the house, he doesn't really wanna be there anymore so he really just doesn't give a s*** what he's doing. HOWEVER, while I understand how the incident can be misinterpreted and obviously in that environment things are blown out of context, Tom needs to stop sticking his nose in everybody's business. He takes a lot of stuff more personally than the people involved. Oh wells, all's well that ends well as apparently Harry has apologised.

Good. I'm glad everything is sorted. I knew he would apologise to Alex, but am pleasantly surprised that he also apologised to Tom. Glad they are friends again.

Theyre all a bunch of *****!

ff10wakka 14-10-2011 04:07 AM

Sounds like Alex and Tom are just doing this for attention and camera time to help themselves win no big surprise here.
