That's a really good point, actually. Reminds me of a question to Anton in Bots. Something like, "are you cocky because you're confident, or to hide your true feelings/insecurities?"

Jem is exactly the same, an outward persona of dominance, but openly admits she doesn't have friends as close as people in the BB house. People that she's known for a week. That says a lot about her character. She doesn't seem to have a lot of redeeming qualities about her at all.

She's projecting her own unhappiness on to others. She can dominate people she knows, most of the time, but people like Aaron and Harry will automatically repel that kind of person, just like they did to the puppies.

When did she say she thinks she is 'popular'? And I presume she is 'horrible' because 1.) she beat Anton and Jay in the vote and 2.) She has worked out the fact that Aaron isn't all THAT bothered about Faye.

Of course the internet polls and campaigns helped her cause. But I found it interesting how the 2 sisters inter-reacted last night. As one episode ends (Anton) another story might be unfolding......and how do the other housemates react to Gem, now they know she has survived an eviction?
This was the best eviction so far.......glad to see the back of Anton, his ego would have doubled had he stayed....:spin:

Big sis protecting lil sis from cad boyfriend, the strains it puts on the relationship, Will Faye back her sis, or will love find a way. Will Bf be outed as the cold manipulative heart stealer some say he is, or will the evil big sis be outed as a trixy jealous has been.

It's Shakespearean no less. Like Gem, Aaron, Faye or not, these are the stories BB was invented to show us. And i'm loving it

She is up there with Orlaith as one of the worst housemates ever. A truly horrible woman.

Jemma hides her jealousy of Faye under a cloak of fake concern. No wonder Faye hasn't had much luck with men if her sister keeps butting into her personal life:rollseyes:
How is Faye expected to learn from her mistakes and grow up if Jemma is always hovering in the background to inflict the spanish inquisition on any prospective BF? No wonder Faye keeps getting dumped.

What bloke wants a chaperone breathing down his neck, and sniping at him constantly? It's not Faye's fault that Jemma fell out of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down.

While I get that she picked up a LOT of protest votes, I think a lot of folks forget that she has an existing fanbase outside of BB that know her. They might not post on forums (most don't after all) but she has her fans built in and so will always do better then her performence in there would suggest.

I think a lot of people underestimate her.
