They cancelled Jems boyfriends vote which meant that Harry..Jay and Faye all had two votes.

Yeah I know, but I don't really see any reason for that being done, it's not the norm to have walker's nominations cancelled, but even so it is normally the case that the eviction would be cancelled this week. Like Harry was saying on BOTS it's not fair that they'd be led to believe they were safe for the next week and then to suddenly be told you're up for eviction because Jem decided to walk.

It's just BB trying to get more money out of people imo

The nominations of Jemma's boyfriend were discounted so that meant Jay, Harry and Faye had the same figure, however,I agree mostly with MTVN in that if Jay was still the golden boy, they would have likely found a way to avoid him being put up, likely by some other nominations twist.

For me, since they didn't plan a double eviction and one up for eviction walked anyway,the best thing to have done would have been to cancel the eviction.
The far more sensible thing to have done though was to 'not' have the relatives nominate anyway, especially 2 sets of nominations from connections to one family too.

Precisely! I'm not even rooting for Aaron to win but, by the time Endemol has finished trying to twist the nominations, I'll end up voting to help him out of a sense of injustice on his behalf. Stop laking about Endemol & let the public deliver all the surprises; we're good at it - ask the bookmakers.

They made Jem's nominations null and void which was fair, meaning that Jay was technically nominated.

I have never understood why BB does not make it a contractual rule that if anyone walks they have to nominate 3 other housemates to go up for eviction (this might stop the walkers walking) or even make it a rule that the entire house go up for eviction.

This would serve two good purposes;

1) There would be enormous peer group pressure NOT to walk...

2) If someone did walk it would then allow the public to vote out those who get under the radar and stay in until the end having not made terribly interesting watching.

Sometimes it's quite hard to wait until a HM is nominated to get the chance to cast a vote for them.

In addition to all of the above - the Production team would not come under so much heavy fire for 'having favourites'. I believe this would make it a much more even playing field.

It should have either been cancelled (Which they don't make money from) or been Aaron Vs Harry (Which might have ment Aaron going)... neither of which they wanted, so they decided for the FIRST TIME EVER to cancel a walkers noms in order to make it a four way.... totaly unfair on Faye and Jay, one of which is being sacraficed.

I very much doubt that they did it to save Aaron, who they have been screwing over for weeks!

It wasn't just that Jem was a walker that her nominations wre cancelled, but the fact she was up for eviction herself, so that completely changes things. It would have been even more unfair if Harry had simply been put up. They did actually mention this would happen to Jem before she decided to leave for good as well & let her know that if she walked her own sister would be put up for eviction, so maybe it was a ploy by BB to stop her from walking...
