Clear proof? Eh what? lol

Where the tears in this photo? Thats what the OP is actually about.... You remember the OP?

It's easy to throw up a moody face if you know the camera is watching... Aaron has been doing it all season after all. Like I say, this photo could have been taken on any day of him to how his reaction to anything from a song coming on he didn't like to someone burping near him. It's his average BB face tbh. In fact, from watching other stuff I would say Faye is rating emotionally LESS then a burp right now :joker:

he walked out of the stranded task for his own selfish reasons,he is not a team player,he has only got away with what he has done beacuse no one has put him straight!,i would have liked to se someone like lisa from bb10 in there she would have torn him to bits!

Has Aaron ever manipulated Hm's for personal gain?

Hopes for a Yes or No but will take what i can get:blush:

Can't really answer conclusively this question as there isn't really a valid or authentic answer to it.

We only get highlights so we haven't a clue as to what for most of the time the housemates say or do anyway, on what we have seen however I would say that in the very first week with no real attachments at all, Aaron was up for eviction, he topped the votes even then.

Since then he has with being both on and off with Faye, walking out of tasks etc; been up for eviction a further 3 times again always topping the votes, it would seem to me that he doesn't even need to manipulate any housemates for anything as he has achieved popularity despite what has been shown on his own actions, not those of others.

From topping the votes in week one's eviction and the rest of them too, what possible personal gain further would he need to seek, none is the answer.
Taking that on board would leave me to say he likely hasn't in my opinion even tried to manipulate other housemates due to the fact he doesn't in any way need to at all.

It sounds like your not 100% sure but on strong balance you think he has no need to therefor Probably No.

When Aaron said

"Im tired of pretending to be nice to people so they don't put me up" i think that's word for word?

What did you take that to mean if not manipulation to gain an advantage?

He walked out of the stranded task 1) because Anton had agreed to save him, so he could go and get painkillers 2) because Jem was going to walk out anyway as she was upset over BB revealing her real age, and 3) to stop Anton getting one over on him and Faye.

Yes 3 is quite selfish, but as Jem was going anyway because of BB purposely upsetting her, there would have been no point staying in there.

That said, if you believe the edit over piecing together the longer FB vids, you would have the opinion I quoted :)

And Lisa BB10 was an absolute troll and I would be very happy if she continued to stay away from my TV screen ta very much

I agree, she was/ is, but her vs Aaron would have been TV gold TBH.

This house has lacked someone with the balls to call Aaron out on his obvious behaviours and tactics tohis face. At least she would have done that.

joeysteele 05-11-2011 02:42 PM

I pretend to like people sometimes, that is not manipulation. Sometimes you do it to keep the peace or to avoid conflict.
There are many reasons people pretend to like others that are a world away from manipulation, manipulating someone you don't like to give you something or do something for you is manipulation in part.
In the BB house though, I cannot see any other personal gain whatsoever that Aaron would want or need.

He knows he has topped the votes in every eviction battle he has had, that is the only key to success on a BB series, he is in the final, what on earth could he need to gain by manipulating people.
The viewers will decide the winner, the housemates largely irrelevant now. Most of them have done their utmost to bring Aaron down with the public, they have failed every time as he's topped every eviction votes.

I'm sorry but I really cannot see your point as to what more he could gain by manipulating other housemates at all, there would be no point when you are already top of the votes with the public anyway.

When you start being less agressive and less facetious, I'll consider replying.

What about you starting a new thread on this as it's a whole different subject matter from the question posed in the OP? It might be a good idea to put it to poll?

Each to their own opinion, and that's mine.

Pyramid, the game is nearly over,so imo, just ignore the baiting and enjoy the last week it's only the same old few spouting the same ****e anyway,Nothing any of them has ever said has made me question my support of Aaron,so doubt they will now,I have never seen them support their own fave, just come in Aaron threads to annoy, let them get together and seethe and stir their little pot,we have some voting to do,so happy Aaron made it to the final:xyxwave::joker::joker:

Absolutely. The word can be used to describe how I approach all this 100%...

1.
amusing; humorous.

2.
lacking serious intent; concerned with something nonessential, amusing, or frivolous.

Your actually taking all this seriously? :joker:

But again.. you have made the thread about me rather then the OP... you seem to can't help doing that :D

dannic71 05-11-2011 02:56 PM

I think his reaction proved how much he really cares for Faye as he looked completley shell shocked and as others have rightly said, all colour drained fro his face. I am sure as it sinks in that she has gone he will be blubbing (only to be accused of trying to gain sympathy no doubt!).

Roy Mars III 05-11-2011 02:58 PM

If he had cried, this thread would read: Fake tears for Faye's eviction.

I know exactly what you mean and when Aaron was ignoring Jay after putting his clothes in the bath, and after Anton was evicted, Aaron made it quite clear he was not the type of person to pretend to like someone,

1. "i'm not going to pretend i like someone, Im not scared of being put up"

yet we know he does pretend to like people because he told us

2. "I'm tired of pretending to like people so they don't put me up"

And Aaron has never been Top Alex Lu and Tom are all untested he knows that, he still has work to do. Contradiction is Aarons weakness, and it is also the weakness of a liar and a manipulator, tbh.

Lord he can't win....if he cried it would be putting on a show,he doesn't cry he has a cold heart, make up your mind people...tonight we will see Aaron feeling low and lonely on the bed,now what do we read into that...

Lozzibear 05-11-2011 03:11 PM

I think he had prepared himself for her to leave and that it would only be a week until they see each other... I don't think he thought for one minute that Harry would go, and was therefore shocked and not prepared to deal with it.

I don't see what the big deal is *rolls eyes*

And i would be saying in that thread rubbish he showed emotion like that when Harry left.

I don't actually doubt that he cares about Faye somewhat though, you'd have to be emotionally dead not to considering how close they've been. But the contrast between the two instances does add fuel.

Oh come on,Aaron has been top in every test that has been put to the public so far. 4 evictions involving 3,4 or 5 people over them all and topping the votes every single time, I would feel really pleased and fairly confident I was very popular at that.

Pretending to like someone in order for them not to nominate you is something housemates have done in all BB series, it's not manipulation ,it's part of the game. What on earth, after the point above, had Aaron to fear from being nominated anyway,he wins the most votes every time.
You asked had he manipulated for personal gain,I throw it back to you from his already clear success with the public, what personal gain could he possibly seek or even need.

You are surely not trying to say that had Aaron been up last week that Louise would have beaten him in the public vote, really you cannot.I bet she only just scraped past Faye.

Only Tom and Alex have now not been up, that should worry them more than Aaron, he already has his track record.
He has beaten in an eviction every housemate except for them only because they haven't been up.
The someone he referred to was likely Jay anyway because Aaron has always said he couldn't pretend to really like him for his habits.

That's no manipulation, a bit of gameplaying that they all do in past and present BB series.
I suppose you are trying to tell us all that no other housemate is gameplaying too or lying even if you were right that Aaron was.

I don't see where Aaron has lied, he doesn't need to manipulate either. If I was a wrong person because I sometimes contradicted myself then I would be seen as very wrong a lot of the time. Contradiction is not always deliberate lying and it's certainly not manipulation.
