I torrent most of my music anyway so its not a bother to me. I think CD's are cumbersome and I just don't like them. If physical media is your thing then whatever but personally I don't care. I haven't bought a CD in 3 years and I'm not really gonna buy another. Digital media is so much more convenient in my opinion. But each to their own I suppose. |
I prefer having a collection of CDs, something to put up in my room and you know they're always 'there', I just don't trust iTunes to keep all of my music safe.
If they do stop making CDs, I won't buy music again. I'm not paying for something which is just as easy to obtain for free. |

This is so sad if true, HMV is one of my fave shops and I just simply love having a look through - even if not buying. I do buy a fair amount of CD's and you just can't beat buying one. The only music I buy legally is CD's. Not from iTunes or whatever (I hate iTunes etc and I refuse to use an Apple product). :(

Why do you refuse to use an Apple product

I'm an old fashioned girl and love my CD collection, there is something about having the physical album artwork with lyrics etc and/ or limited editions, also a few of mine are signed by the bands..be a bit weird going to a concert and asking the band to sign your ipod...
