As tasks have now done , and bets placed since betting commenced: I think we need to make a clean sweep of some of the betting odds? yep, novo and locke could be the best ones to advise on this......... thread consultants. to be paid in tibb pounds of course.

OMG....Holds breath....

Kate! 15-11-2011 09:28 PM

I think it would be a good idea as there is no show tonight to put just one or two rules in place.

1 There shall be an upper limit on ALL bets of 50 tibb pounds. I think this is fair, and means any bets already placed for more than 50 will be reduced to 50, what do you reckon Pyramid? Otherwise it is entirely possible everyone will be bankrupt in the first week, so we should do it now before the show gets into full swing. If there are no objections then its a rule.

2 There are some players who haven't placed any bets yet, you need to put at least one on asap preferably before tomorrows show.

Nope: no upper limits. Bets have been placed. and I've done me calculations !!

If people want to be reckless with their money: that's their perogative....the Casinos and turf accountants don't show leniency: why should we!

We need a deadline for some bets though.....

Niamh. 15-11-2011 09:35 PM

Oh Freddie isn't coming back, I wish I'd bet more than a fiver

. You actually have £150. it was 2/1. So you get £100 plus your original 50 bet back (and you lost the other 50)

After leaving hospital Freddie met with the show's producers to discuss whether he would be able to return to the jungle, but it was ultimately decided the comedian was unfit to continue in the reality show.

2 knocked out so far.

it was 2/1

ie: 2 x 50TP = 100TP - Plus the original 50TP back.

Freddie:will he return? No - 10TP
Jungle Romance? Willie and Stephanie - 1TP
Third person to do a Bushtucker Trial? Willie - 10TP
Will anyone walk? Anyone else - 5TP
Winner of next Trial? Mark - 10TP

Don't ever open a betting shop, you would be bankrupt within 24 hours!

I am fully aware of that thanks, however this is a tibb game for fun, and its irrelevant to the game whether or not business would go down the tubes, its a strategic game of risk whereby the players have to choose the best bets for them and/or take calculated risks to end up with the most money

Also, I regret that Pyramid has left the game, will be missed.

Now, business matters. To clarify, I have decided that the new rules should and will be applied.

Any questions?

I will do a proper update in the morning. I know Niamh and MTVN have both got winnings at least.

spitfire 16-11-2011 12:25 AM

It's hardly a risk, if you can't lose!

Kate! 16-11-2011 12:35 AM

Ok spitfire,

1 they CAN lose, if what they bet on doesn't happen, obviously.

2 you clearly haven't come in this thread to do anything but snipe, if you can't say anything nice then please don't say anything at all. I don't think thats much to ask.

Explain how i could lose,
Freddie:will he return?
Yes: 4-1
No: 2-1

If i put £50 on yes and £50 on no?

Stake £100
Yes returns £250
No returns £150
:spin:

BJ 16-11-2011 10:12 AM

As Aaron would say "Oh Dear". Good luck Kate.

20 TP for Stephanie to win tonight's trial

Thanks.

People, I am sorry, I am not going to be able to do this, my head is done in, would anyone like to take it over? If not, then I declare it a fail, I shall stick to straightforward prediction games in the future, hope someone takes it over though, with the right person running it, it would be great. Unfortunately, that's not me. I tried.
