Chips and curry sauce on bread is indeed nice. Same with a chips and gravy sandwich

Never been a fan of chips and gravy, makes the chips too soggy

Kerry 24-11-2011 04:45 AM

Baby tomatoes cut in half and covered in salt and vinegar! You can add cucumber and pickled onions too. It all works :D

I fail to see why your chips are any more soggy with gravy than with curry :hmph:

Kerry 24-11-2011 04:51 AM

Saying that, I adore chippy curry. Though I do put vinegar on too :joker:

I never eat them with just the curry sauce, I get a t-cake special with is t-cake, scallop, curry sauce and chips. It's epic! Most traditional chip shops are gone from here now though, all sell kebabs and pizza's

InOne 24-11-2011 04:55 AM

Chip shop up the road from me sells Chocolate Pizzas. The base is covered with Belgian chocolate instead of tomato.

Ewwwww

I can't even stand the thought of chocolate sarniges (Nutella)

Bread was not made for sweet things :hmph:

Maia 25-11-2011 01:07 AM

Weirdest thing I've ever had was couscous and gravy. Was quite nice though surprisingly.

Shaun 25-11-2011 01:10 AM

not really odd, i just like eating loads of plain stuff that most people put stuff in, or have stuff with. Like eating poppadums, naan bread or tortillas on their own (the latter taste really good if they're toasted for a bit).

Nutella + anything = a good way to experiment, too. I put it on croissants.

Ham and Chocolate is a good combination

King Gizzard 25-11-2011 01:14 AM

Sometimes have treacle and cheese sandwiches which is apparently normal

Lovely
