I have heard that they considered this with Katie last year aswell,they just didnt want to lose all there audience though.:hugesmile:

Good at the start but she got boring because she didn't get any better.

She really shouldn't have applied for the show, she is better than it.

I agree, she would have been discovered on YouTube eventually anyway.

I think she does have an interesting voice, and I hate what x factor has done to her. I hope something good comes out of it for her.

I loved her sing off performance. I think she has a hauntingly beautiful voice but It is something you'll either love or hate I'd imagine. I hope she gets signed and does well after this.

If the judges had based it on the bottom two like they are supposed to then Janet should have stayed :idc:

In your opinion - but it's not one I share I'm afraid. I felt Misha completely outshone Janet in the sing off.

I thought she was great in her sing off. She went back to what she does best.


However if the X Factor isn't about the voice and it's about who wants it more, then Misha should win.

Well I respect that even If I don't agree, I'm still not happy that it was basically a clean sweep with the judges, someone should have voted against Misha!

My own view is that it is a mixture: of who wants it most, who it able to produce the full package, and who is more likely to appear to the widest audience. It's all about the kerching!

If the shoe was on the other foot, and I was a Janet fan - I'd be saying exactly the same, for all the same reasons - that's the truth of the matter.

But I'm not, so I can understand the judges decision and obviously, as a result of my own 'bias', will agree they made the right choice. Misha will appeal to a wider audience than Janet (imo).

That's NOT to say Janet won't find success in her own particular field.

Misha will appeal to a wider audience, but one where her market is already heavily populated.

Can't fault you on that comment - though she would fill concert venues in far greater number than Janet - I think that's pretty much a certaintly.
