She's a little overrated by fans but definitely not the 'most overrated of 2011'

I think Rhianna is one of the most overrated and generic artists, and of course Katy Perry..

The only reason Gaga hasnt had alot of chart success in the UK is because all her fans have brought her album so didnt need to buy the single's ...thats how we end up with Dappy and One Direction at number one each week D;

I would just love to see her release a ballad as the lead single for an album. Not a dance-ballad, not relying on any gimics, just her. Then I would take her a little bit more seriously.

Gaga isnt overrated, she has bags of talent, is a keen business woman with her marketing and shows so much passion and respect towards her fans.

She is just suffering from over-exposure and over-hype. It makes me lose interest in her.

I like Lady GaGa because she's taken a lot of nasty press and stuff but just shrugs it off and keeps going. She's also very creative and her songs are actually good imo

I think if you.. present yourself the way Gaga does than some negative press is kinda inevitable, I do like her music but she hasn't had a really good song since Bad Romance for me

What gimmicks does Jessie J do? I don't recall her turning up to any awards ceremonies in a giant egg or meat dress lately. Bit of an eccentric dress style at times but thats about the extent of it

I agree Lady Gaga might be overrated to some degree but at least she actually has a talent and writes her own material.

Robot Spears can't sing, dance or make her own music. She's a million miles away from when she was good and yet her fans scream as though she puts on the best show on earth. Her shows are all the work of backing dancers, giant screens and blasted backing tracks which overshadow Britney, who looks like a 12 year old messing about in her bedroom.

There's loads of early GaGa stuff on the Internet. My mate lives in New York and saw her play at the Bitter End in Greenwich Village, where my mate herself has played a few times. Just because I am not a fan of someone I wouldn't suggest they are overrated. We all like different stuff.

I would say that Britney has been a little underrated this year. She has had excellent videos and singles and her album was great. I attended the Femme Fatale tour and although quite dance based, some moments were "live" and she put on a great show. She also performed a few ballads including the beautiful Don't Let Me Be The Last To Know which was stunning. It was a brilliant concert.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not slagging it off for being dance based. Back in the day, that was Britney's ultimate strong point. She was one of the best performers ever but having a dance oriented show for a woman who seems to have not only lost her star quality but lost all skill to do even the most basic moves in favour of hair flipping and arse shaking is ridiculous.

Like I said she still puts on shows that are along the lines of her early years but she herself is no longer capable of pulling them off. She comes across like a 12 year old in her bedroom amongst all the professionals.

I don't know whether she's still "not right" and not back to herself or whether she can't be bothered anymore. If it's the latter then she should be ashamed given how much she charges for tickets.

she's the first artist i think could be as big (if not bigger) than MJ - in my opinion

The whole image thing and weird costumes are annoying but I respect the fact that she writes her own songs and is an actual musician, I do like some of her songs, especially You and me
