I suppose it might be entertaining to watch but soooo cowardly, thats what peeeed me off the most! |
What Grtace did was childish but then what do you expect when when the parents buy you a £350,000 flat in Notting Hill!!!
feel sorry for Suzie but in a way it vindicated why Suze voted for Grace. Grace couldn't get over the fact that someone could vote for her, Nikki accepted it in the end but then Nikki's far more clever than she pretends to be and Grace has a superiority complex so what do you expect . Blame the parents I do. |
Well, here are my thoughts. And I really dont' care if anyone tries to say "oh but it's only water" blah blah blah. It's assault. No one should have to worry about getting anything thrown on them because they nominated the other person. That is part of the game. Assaulting someone in any shape or form is NOT. Suzie was nothing but a complete lady to her the entire time and Grace just did something so out of line that I honestly think something should be done by Big Brother. Only a coward would do something like that knowing she wouldn't be staying.
And to those who still think Grace isn't spiteful. . .well, she proved you wrong. Again. |

But I'm interested in hearing that throwing water at people is assault. Exactly what section of the Offences Against the Person Act does it come under? Or perhaps you could refer me to the case law that you are relying on? |
She was bang out of order
Haha shes out:tongue::laugh: |

and for those that says shes a coward - SHE WENT TO SAY BYE TO HER FRIENDS AND YEAH, SHE WAS BEING EVICTED SO SHE COULDN'T REALLY WAIT. surely it would be more cowardly to pretend to be her friend? |
This is brilliant. I am just wondering what all of you Grace haters are going to talk about now. Whose next then?

Grace reminds me of the sort of person that would start a fight an wen a big crowd has built up she'd crawl out between ppls legs an run off |
Gosh, do you really want me to have to search out the exact statements on assault. It's section 39 of the Criminal Justice Act. Actus reus includes what is considered every day contact if it is intentionally intended to humiliate the person, or indirect contact. Meaning actual physicial contact need not happen (in this case-water). Needless to say it was also not consentual. A common assault is used in situations where a blow or another application of force is struck, but when no actual injury results.
I recall even a couple of people working for a tv show got arrested for assault for squirting Tom Cruise int he face with water as a joke. :laugh: |

"A common assault is used in situations where a blow or another application of force is struck, but when no actual injury results." See, if there is an application of force, then the offence is assault and battery (unless the person was hit from behind cos then there wouldn't be the requisite apprehension of physical force, so it would just be battery). And I noticed you mentioned the actus reus, but do you know the mens rea for assault?? And I'd prefer to see actual case law on water squirting constituting assault, rather than anecdotal evidence about Tom Cruise. Have fun googling that lot :wink: |
I agree with blame the parents as they have brought her up and the friends she socialises with as clearly they are not helping her in any way. Grace needs to take a good look in the mirror.
