I've been told that I tend to waste space in my layouts so i wanted to make sure that this layout didnt have any wasted space.

Anyway the bathroom has locker room style showers and two urinals. And the 2nd story has a circle balcony.

A good addition as always Donovan - and proof once again they can do something slightly different with the current space.

BTW what software do you use for your plans. I've still to find anything I like really since switching to Windows 7 - and haven't been able to master Sketch Up at all.

This is kind of embarassing but i used to use Macromedia Fireworks until my computer crashed and I lost it, so know i just use paint (don't judge me).

And i asked a member, who is usually on the UK forums, if they could do a Sketch-Up of a BBUS house and that they could use one of my layouts if they liked. They said yes and I'm kinda excited to see if it turns out.

They're bloody good for paint!

These are all really good. I'm surprised that nobody else does floorplans for the US house. Can you make a template just in case I want to make one?

P.S. This is my fav!

Thanks
I can post a template but I don't know if it'll get warped when you save the file.

KittyK 02-03-2012 02:18 PM

Oh okay. Umm if wanted to do a mockup using one of your layouts could I?

Donovan. 02-03-2012 07:45 PM

Yeah if you want to.

Updated version of my last layout. Im now really proud of this. I changed the upstairs To have a lot more room for production. There will be a gym on the second floor for the first two weeks then 4 possible HGs will be put into the Glass House for a week and at the end of the week the HGs will pick 1 or 2 new HGs for the house.

Haven't made a loyout in a while but this is my most recent.

The house has a straight eviction hallway that leads to the DR hallway. Stairs lead up to the DR hall from the Living Room. The Kitchen is raised above the Living Room and leads to the Bedroom which holds the Bathroom. Outside of the Living Room there is a Pool House that holds the pool and a seating area. From the Pool House you can get to the Backyard. The Deck has a Grill, outdoor dinner table and a sunken Hot Tub/sitting area.

I love how different that last plan is - it really would feel like a completely new house. And a little thing but I quite like the idea of having the Memory Wall directly behind the sofas so it will be in shot behind the nominees come eviction night.

Interesting idea having the Glass House within the house too in your previous plan, though to be honest not sure the location works as it is only visible from the corridor to the HoH room as you've effectively sealed the upstairs off. It kind of needs to be in a location where it is visible from most places in the house (but can easily be hidden by fake walls before it is revealed).

Thanks I actually really wanted to make this one different. And I know, I thought about that too. As soon as I posted it I realized that instead of having the diagonal wall in the upstairs hallway parallel to the glass house, I could have made that a corner and had a sitting area/chessboard there.
