It's not really, when it's America. Most songs take months to rise high due to airplay being a factor too.

-needs to stop defending Madonna-

Nope, don't see the similarities. Maybe it sounds a bit like Bohemian Like You but not substantially. The only thing it has in common with Hot N Cold is that they have a similar beat and they're both pop songs.

13 isnt bad  esspecially for first week sales

One of the theories why it is not charting in the UK it is because of the pre-order thing on iTunes, in the UK all pre-orders will chart of the week of release. That is why it it is not in the charts. Unfortunately the UK is the ONLY major country to do this. So don't expect it to chart soon.

Harry! 09-02-2012 06:14 PM

For example Coldplay's song Paradise:

Following the release of the album on 30 October 2011, the song became chart eligible in the UK and entered the UK Singles Chart at number 14...

..."Paradise" was revealed chart ineligible in the United Kingdom, having been offered as an "instant grat" (immediate download) for anyone who pre-ordered the album, Mylo Xyloto.
wiki.

So don't expect it to chart to March!!!

Callum 09-02-2012 06:18 PM

It's not an instant grat anymore, at least not in the UK. You have to buy the single individually so it should be eligble to chart.
