Jedward are (not so surprisingly) officially representing Ireland again this year with "Waterline"

I think Ireland was right choosing Jedward tonight. If anyone else watched in on RTE, then you'd probs agree that Mercy sung live was a let down compared to the version on Youtube and lacked any energy. I was really full on for supporting it, but live, Jedward was better and more entertaining and also strategically superior.

Overall Cyprus is my fav so far, but in general it's not shaping up to be as good as last years ultimate contest :D

Definately Ireland has made a great move, this song is as good as Lipstick even slightly more commercial and better.

Anyone got a link to it? Does anyone know if the public get to choose our representative this year or is just being chosen for us like last year?

There was a rumour that Jade Ewen and/or that line up of the Sugababes might do Eurovision but I doubt it's true, there's nothing anywhere to back it up. It is weird that we've not had any confirmed representation yet though.

We usually find out in March. There is a deadline for every country to submit their final entry.

There's also a girl called Leanne Moore, she was a trainee secretary in my old school before and then she went on an Irish song competition and won, and now she gets to sing with Jedward. :joker: She was a pushover when she worked in the school..
