Real rustic italian food is to die for though, we went to tuscany and I died and went to food heaven.
Oh there are a few fantastic real Italian restaurants in Edinburgh :love: One in particular is sooo not fancy... its noisy, busy, plainly decorated but full of Italians and do just the best authentic food! (and its cheap as chips)

Ben you would adore Singapore, there are so many places to fine dine at reasonable prices and so many places are one of a kind. You do not really get the chains of places like you do here, it is amazing and so authentic.

In Tuscany we went to this restaurant which just looked like someones tatty rustic house and I will be honest, I was a little weary before the food but oh my it was amazing, the pasta, the meat, the salads and then the desert, all to die for. The greatest italian food I have ever had.

Yeah, I found in Rome, the best restaurants were the small backstreet places which really didn't look fancy at all.

I want to go back to Italy right now and stuff my face! :(
