She's incredibly stupid for doing anything when she could have just ignored it, she's made herself look like a spiteful unsympathetic bitch when she could have turned the other cheek and allowed him to hang himself in time since he didn't seem like the sharpest knife in the drawer.

For someone that works in the media she has no tact for dealing with it.
