When you live with people, you have an idea of what you can talk about and how to approach it. I felt Deana was civil about it and Becky was not upset.

Like all males on here I should be disqualified from commenting on this issue.
I learned many years ago that women's attitude to weight is unfathomable to males.
I once worked in a place where each lunch hour a group of about a dozen women sat round a table to eat. They were a mixture of very thin, average and well over-weight.
The conversation frequently turned to diets during which thin ones would bemoan their weight in a way which seemed to me incredibly insensitive to the fat ones.
The latter came back each day for more and never raised any objections. Furthermore they joined in as though the thin ones' comments made any sort of sense.

That might be the case with some people but there are overweight people that are happy with themselves, its other projecting their dislike of overweight people that makes them feel bad.
Deana was not telling her to watch her calories, she was trying to make Becky feel bad about what she was eating which i think is just wrong. Trying to belittle someone into not eating something is not nice.

Listen, you can like Becky as she is, but you cant deny FAT is NOT cute and is NOT healthy. If you say otherwise, you are doing yourself and others in that situation a diservice.

I agree in part, overweight people can be happy with themselves, but I don't know how you can be so sure of Deana intentions. It could be interpreted in many different ways seems to me.

Belittle, did we watch the same video? I saw it as a civil conversation between them and Deana even congratulated her on being happy even though she looks like a Balooga whale

Becky has serious food addiction - there is NO right answer when it comes to dealing with her. She's nominated and complained about people (not just Deana) for making comments about feeling fat. She nominated Lydia for complaining about custard being hard to swallow, when she herself would've LOVED to guzzle down a jar full of custard in 20 seconds. Everyone in that house could walk on eggshells around her 24/7, and she'd still find ways to bitch. Very likely she has a running inventory of everything in that kitchen in her head at all times, and she's also probably aware of everything everyone else takes out of it (or in her mind, how much of her food everyone else is eating). That's obvious going back to the start when she was hiding beer down her pants.
