I don't eat wholemeal because of calories or anything like that I actually prefer it to white, white bread makes me feel sluggish

Yeah, might consider asking a professional what a good target calorie intake would be for you. May I ask what kind of calorie intake you are used to?

I do feel sluggish alot actually, I think it's because I smoke and don't exercise though, two things I need to rectify!

What do you mean what kind? My usua without dieting? Id say about 2.500 and I am a bread addict, I usualy crave bread and rice more than anything else when I am dieting. I love sweets but its easy for me to give sugar up.

The question is could you stop at one chunk of chocolate?? If we could do that life would be much easier

And a challenge sounds really cool. I should be joing that new gym in the first few days of July. I am currently about 76Kg but have really gotten quite soft recently. makes me feel very unmanly

LOL, the more people do it the better, you get motivated and competitive so you lose more weight if you do it as a team.

I know, I'm terrible for making excuses to avoid exercise though, making the time for it is my problem (or the one I tell myself anyway!)

No :(

If I start I cant stop, I have to eat the entire bar of chocolate, or the entire bag of chips. Im not the kinda that can eat in moderation. I have to act like an alcoholic and stop it cold.. 0 sugar, 0 simple carbs.

On the good front, I love veggies, spinach, broccoli, cauliflour, anything green I like.

OK. so 1500 would be 60% of your normal intake, a 40% reduction. That might be ok, esp If you are eating a balanced, healthy diet

I need to make more of effort with my lunches in work, I just usually take the easy option and buy a sandwich

Yeah that's a big prob with modern living. Even the so-called healthy sambos are packed with salt and additives. I bring in a lot of low fat natural youghurt with some seeds or something for flavour etc.

Make your own, and use finer ground. If you use the Artisan Bread recipes it's ridiculously easy, and once you get in the habit, you'll never buy it again.
