*Attached to the Corocoro Magazine is a small short featuring Pikachu labelled ‘Pikachu & Eevee Friends’.

Earlier today in Japan, at the end of a BW2 trailer, a new teaser was shown stating that the next big announcement in the world of Pokemon will happen on January 8th, 2013. There’s absolutely no hints or clues that tell us what it could possibly be about; It could be anything from a new main game reveal, to a new, lame WiFi event.

There are watches being released to promote the 16th Pokémon movie, Extremespeed Genesect, and one watch is completely greyed out. This could suggest that there’s simply an existing Pokémon which will be revealed later or could mean that Genesect has an alternate form. Or even that the very first Generation 6 Pokémon is coming. It’s all speculation right now.

There's even some speculation that Gen 6 will be the last generation. If we are getting a Gen 6.

I think we're getting a stadium esque game for the Wii U.

Yeah, I think we're getting a new Eeveelution. Nintendo have never done an annoucement for a game in a Direct. Usually that's reserved for E3.

What would be awesome is that since Namco Bandai is rumored to be working on the next Super Smash Bros. that the new game is a Digimon vs Pokemon RPG.

I'd be happy with any except the Wii U game ...Gen 5 and Black and White were flops (imo) so we need a new Gen now :idc:

Pokemon X and Y have been announced for the 3DS, it's the next generation and it's fully 3D now. It's being released simultaneously world wide at the end 0f 2013.

I am far far too excited about this... Getting a 3DS asap.

My Body wasn't ready goddammit Nintendo.

The only thing that I don't like is the male character. I hope that there's character customization.

tbh the player sprites are really ugly.. they look like those people you create on the wii

Should there be a seperate thread for the new games? might be just easier to use this..

I dunno why people are so desperate for remakes. Much rather a new generation.

Remakes are cool, but I've seen people actually complain about this announcement not being a remake...
