I want to read this version tbh:

An excerpt from the first chapter:

Quote:

I growl with frustration at my reflection in the mirror. My hair is fifty shades of messed up. Why is it so kinky and out of control? I need to stop sleeping with it wet. As I brush my long brown hair, the girl in the mirror with brown eyes too big for her head stares back at me. Wait . . . my eyes are blue! It dawns on me that I haven’t been looking into the mirror—I’ve been staring at a poster of Kristen Stewart for five minutes. My own hair is fine.

The first one is a cat and mouse smut game between the two main characters. The second one has a heart and quite an enjoyable story if you're a sucker for love [I.E. me], the third one is a boring random next episode trudge that squeezes far too much in yet develops almost nothing and ends as you would expect.

So I actually enjoyed them somewhat. Obviously they're terribly written but people raise enjoying naff films to the level of consumerist art nowadays. I wonder when the same courtesy will extend to the literary world? The idea that they're books means you have to sort of approach the medium with trepidation and only read the finest, quality screened books that have critic approval shagging all over the back covers.

Besides ... getting a boner whilst reading a book is fun.

I think it's slightly different. Reading a book usually takes a longer time, so it has to be good for me to make the effort.

A ****e film can just play as background noise.

I agree. Takes far too much time and effort to waste on a s**t book

Not at all! Honestly... It could have been a really erotic tale but it was ruined by repetitive crap writing

Yes, they are. I quite like the story. I hope they don't change it too much.
